It was in a comment on digg replaying to the full intro scene being posted on youtube. Thats why I specified that it was 'supposedily' the full roster. Its not from a reliable source (quite the opposite in fact) but it is new. Not one of the ones thats been out for awhile now.
I suppose I should have also said *possable major spoilers* :p
Side note: I know nobody yet knows if a jap SSBB iso will work on a US wii even after brickblocking, but does anyone know (from previous games) if a save game started on a japanese backup will still work when you play the US version or if u have to start over? It'd be really upsetting to get the game 90% unlocked and then have to start over again if I want to be able to read the menus when it comes out here.

Unfortunately I think Wii save games are region specific, but I'm not 100% sure.

Heh, ya it looks like the one I found is an edit of that one.
That last one seems the most likely, though I've been hearing rumors that theres gonna be 35 playable characters and that pic only shows 34. So I'm gonna hold out hope for one more suprise character in the roster. I wont even say their name becasue I'm afriad I'll jinx it. But if it is I'll be back to celebrate.

Most modded Wii systems (including Wiikey with 1.9g) will not play even an ORIGINAL copy of Brawl. Uh-oh.
Modded Japanese consoles or Modded other region consoles? Because I don't think it matters whether or not the game is ORIGINAL or BURNED, just the region.

WOW, these rosters look pretty Legit. If all of these characters like dark fox, the robot, and hourglass link are really in the game, than this game will be the BEST!

Modded Japanese consoles will not play an original copy of Brawl, according to the 65 pages in that thread.

wow that sucks. well heres hoping moded US consoles will play Brawl.
I noticed in the thread it was talking about like D2b D2c D2a , etc. Did they say all versions don't work with brawl or only some of them?

If a Japanese console will not play a Japanese game, it's unlikely that they will REMOVE that copy protection for the American version.

true but its possible it could have just been a coincidence.
what were they saying about the different types of drives?
Also, instead of patching the modchip like with Mario Galaxy, is it possible that someone can actually patch the Brawl Iso to make it compatible with chipped systems?

I wish I could tell you. I live in Japan and have a Japanese Wii with Wiikey. I had a Chinese friend translate the part that says I can't play an original copy of Brawl when I buy it tomorrow. That's the only part I paid attention too. Sorry.

Well if its 60something pages, maybe they finally managed to get it working.
If it doesn't work, I figure someone can make a patch for the iso to make it work, kind of like brickblocker?

Here's hoping that the chinese website is wrong. Let us know how it goes. Personally if the game wont work on a modded wii by US launch I plan to put a switch onto the power wire of my wiikey so I can easily switch between modded and unmodded modes.

I'm getting another unmodded Wii from a friend and waiting to see how things go. I'll be able to play Brawl tomorrow regardless, I just want to see what happens with MY Wii.

He means when it comes out in his region.
gameday let us know how it works out tommorow. its too bad modchips dont have an "off" mode... something like that wouldnt even be hard to implement would it?

Some guy from gamefaqs:
"Yeh my cousins JP Wii won't play it for some reason but his modded NA Wii will play it however. Weird how that works but i can't wait to play it tommorow."
If this is true, its good news.
Also, apparently Brawl has been released in Taiwan.

Does it say what chip the US wii was modded with? I've heard that D2Ckey has better compatability than other chips. (hope its just a regular wiikey though cause thats what I have)
