tried nearly all the channels that start with sly but they all stick and then the remotes seems to freeze sometimes as well...should i try to update again?

Hi, taken your advice and got the the usb the box super today, plugged it in and away i went, i had sound but no picture on some channels, switched on/off at the back a couple of time and was okay for a while. picture has gone on dollar symbol channels although i have sound, box is not flashed etc, help please

Des u seem to know a lot about this can u help me. i was told i need to download uk version for strviw 2. i have the firmware on the pc, when i go to loader to download to the box a pop up is coming up saying model name is empty. i have deleted an re installed a lot of times but still the same message is coming up. any chance u can halp me sortthis. thank you.

yeah we missed you.. no one to slag!!
try this :Menu 1570 turn emu off..exit back to channel..scrambled etc..exi.. menu 1570 press default..then turn emu on .exit updating data and it should click in!!try the box offfor a minute then on again, will send you a pm soon.. to busy LOL

Hi all,
are any of you facing any problem recently with 'The BOX' .... I am in dublin area ... for the past few days All I am getting is data is being updated.... I am getting very few channels (maybe 10 in total) but when follow the recommended steps - factory setting - auto scan... etc it finds 184 but no image for most of them. Any Ideas????
P.s It did come back for 1 hour or 2 last night but disappeared again this morning... Is something changing ???

there was new firmware today so your box wont work>>> the fix is here, its the UK one but works in Dublin!!

hey des you still around?tried that with the default key and no joy...it starts to update up to about 200%then it sticks and if i then try to change channel to try it on another channel the remote freezes completely so i have to switch it off at the back to unfreeze the remote...any ideas??i have done all my super boxes and im just left with three genuine boxes...hope i used the right firmware!!

Hello Jedi Knights of the FreeTV, I am a Nthell user in dublin, have flashed my starv1ew box (2) me thinks once before, but now forgot what to do. been looking all night since I got home and cant find what I looking for(bet ya it been staring me in the face) The links i need are: the fools guide to flashing with pics, the correct downloads. I`m a bit we tar did!!!

Howdy, have a problem updating the box super with the new uk fix, I will give you all the detail I can, here is what I did in sequence, i updated a box super no probs with gtrom all in one uk fix, I then tried to update another with the same setup and it got to 100% and hung for a while before saying "flash update failed". Now when I reboot the box it displays Boot - ld80 - and finally rests at dl on the display. I have tried to reload every box super firmware version available while it is in this state and again the progress bar goes up to 100% both on the gtrom and on the front display, the gtrom near finish says "flash burning" but always fails. The display on the front of the box ends up with F.L_E. The box was booting ok before the update with version 6.0. I have checked the bad flash thread but it is not relevant here. I checked the known clone features and both boxes appear genuine, 25x7 vents, cpu has vertical lines rather than spikes etc. It appears the attempted flash has messed up the bootloader\bios, is there a way to reset this, even physically are there jumpers that can be switched? Any help much appreciated.

Have flashed both my starview 1 and the box with new firmware but both boxes are showing updating data but not moving off 0%. Any ideas

hi
i tried to upload software to my eurovox. It was downloading right until the last minute when i got the message download unsuccessful! Ever since that i cant even turn my box on as its just has ---- on the display. How can i fix this as i have recieved codes but cant get into menu? the software i used was core400.bin and i have eurovox red

alright guys... any more suggestions.. i have tried everythin now i think.. changed the comm ports, tried different firmwares but still get the same 0% and after about 20 secs flash driver failed. i just dont know what to do.. my starview box super has the 8.00_e version installed from june 2008, trying to update to the latested one but isnt responding.... help!!!!

Hey all,
Im new on here so have patience.
Ive followed all instructions and purchased the cables for the st*view 3 box super. gone through all of the protocol but when i get to the last stage i just get a flash update fail message then the box reboots and ld80 appears for a second.
I have all fta cha^^els but nothing else.... any ideas !?!?
