Create your magic mmms following the guide on page 1
Then follow the guide where it says "Creating the Pandora Battery" and you can use your modded psp to do this.
Follow the section where it says for Custom Firmware PSP
Read every step.
It is just as "larrylje" said. Its all in the guide. You just need to read the whole thing to see which section applys to you.

alright guys,
i have encountered my first problem.
when i run pandora battery tool.
i get an error 0x8025 and it quits.
did a search and someone suggested that i should put the game homebrew thing in the recovery menu to 1.50 kernel.
done that but i still get the same error.
any help will be much appreciated,
regards,
Mubs

Now I don't know much about slim psp, but I have read if you have a TA-085 V2 you can't put the battery into service mode this way.
It can't write to the battery serial and therefore cannot be used to create a Pandora battery!
Your only option would be to buy a pandora battery then.
Now if someone else who knows more may reply and state whether this is true or not

The PSP-3000 is running under HEN at the moment by means of the GripShift exploit. Devs have the program created, but they won't be releasing it to the public just yet.

Does this mean that the same exploit can be used on the psp slim with the ta-88 v3?

It was announced as "[RELEASE] GripShift Hello World + Sparta SDK: 1.52-5.02 exploit for ALL PSP models!" so I guess it's safe to assume it does work even on ta-88 v3.

Read the trouble shooting section of the guide on how to determine what MOBO the PSP has.

PSP-3000 that are running OFW 5.02 can boot homebrew, but if you upgrade to OFW 5.03 the exploit is patched and it will not boot. At this time any PSP-3000 that is running OFW 5.02 should remain and do not upgrade because you wont be able to run homebrew. There isn't much homebrew at the time, so its not a real big deal but there is kernal access. Not available to the public for the time being until another exploit is discovered. Hopefully when that happens the pre-IPL code by then should be deciphered.

Read the guide and the troubleshooting section. I bet you didn't get the final screen shot when doing the mms. I had the same problem. I had to use a diffrent pc the first time, a diffrent ms the second time, yes I did it on two separate ocassions. Try different pc and ms. It will work.

Hello all.
First off all.. Thnx Larry!
I have succesfully created the mms. I already had a Pandora's battery so i used that one to install the 3.71 M33 firmware on a Phat PSP. But when i reinsert a normal battery and start up, i cant use any of the buttons. Only sound and brightness works. When reinstalling original 3.71 all works well.
Is anyone familiar with this problem and how can i solve this?
Thanks in advance.
Edit: Never mind. Have fixed it. I had to disable the VSH menu in Recovery options. All works great now.

Try this. This will solve the IPL and transfer difficulties you are experiencing.

The exploit does exists, but what I meant by "not available to the public" was kernal access.

There is 2 different locations to download part 2 in the first page.
They are both identical.
