I purchased a new Kryptview A750. Can someone please advise if they are supplied with software included. Please also advise on installation procedures as i'm not very technically minded.

Hey guys,
Can anyone give me up to date info on the Kryptview box, Arnet750? Is it still working in North Dublin? And any ideas if it will last for a while. Thinking of picking one up but need to know first that it will be worth my while even if I was only to get 5 or 6 months out of it. The football season is approaching and I don't want NTHell or Sly getting anymore of my money.

they still work, but how long is a piece of string,lol
no 1 can say for sure how long they will last?

Hi Wondering if anyoine can help have installed update file for SV4 and evertyhing was going fine but in last 24 hours signal has been a bit patchy, some channels have what are like blocks of pixels appearing is this happening anywhere else and if so is there a fix

not sure at the moment prob a bad flash but whatever you do dont knock the power off at the plug or take it out for the moment when turning it off just put it in standby, ill get bck to you 2morrow wih more info.

did you put the latest fix on your box about a month ago also make sure you hve a good scart lead that could be the problem or your cable,what is your signal and quality level?
also do you have any splitters going into or coming from your box
latest fix is in my tutorial at the bottom of this post under my signature.

the box not a clone the place where i bought it is looking after me but there is another forum on another page that started 8 july up till today all with the same happening my friends got the boxes the same place i did and theirs are fine the only thing is i power mine off every night where they dont so could be to do with that

Picture on my KV750 is now just black & white.
Quality of picture has gotten worse.
Not sure was it the kids messing or has something else changed.
Software version I have is pv2.2.00
H/W version v2.0.0
Any ideas?

Latest software version is pv2.3.00 dated 12/07/09. It is not a firmware issue either way, check your scart is pushed in all the way on both your TV and KV.
Also check that your TV settings is still set at PAL. I hate that NTSC/PAL button on the remote :)
If its not a scart problem you can check if its on PAL or not by pressing menu, System Settings, Other Settings.

Thanks for the info.
Have followed your suggestions.
Scarts are in ok. Its deffo on PAL.
Still no colour in image. Suspicious it was my 4yr old messing with remote!
