If it's the correct file, I can't imagine that would cause the slow loading time. Slow loads are usually associated with burn speeds or the media.
@vish90: In order to put a DVD9 on a DVD5, you would have to rebuild the game. Try using Gnie's Rebuilding Tool: http://www.alucard.cc/ps2/ExPERT_v1.03.rar. For the guide, you can either try to go off of Anthony05's post here: http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/2/262453 or you can get Gnie's guide from www.ps2nfo.com (have to register first).

It wouldn't hurt to try +R to see if that works. You could also try a different brand. TDK are very good, but since you're going to try something different...
Be sure to post the outcome if you do try this.

DVD9 can hold 8.54gb
DVD5 only holds 4.7gb

Hi - just thought I tell you what my findings were with buying new DVD-R. I bought some PHILIPS DVD-R and they seem to work fine. I bought this becuse a lot of people say they work and on the cases it actuly says a "great for makeing your own music CD and making back ups for movies and GAMES" so I would highly recommend to buy philips DVD-R for swap disks. Also In MY exsperance in the last week TDK don't work to well, but maybe thats just me (since a lot of people seem to think that TDK is the one to buy for swap disks).
P.S - Im from the UK so that may make some diffrance (being PAL/NTSE)

@vish90: I used ExPERT (Gnie's rebuilder) and it worked perfectly for me. Have you tried rebuilding Bulletproof with ExPERT yet?

Could Someone find out if Kingdom hearts 2 JAP loads up on with swap magic 3.3.
Ive tried with three burns (4x,2.4x Speed) but failed to get it to load up. I Used Fujifilms Ridtek g03 discs.

It works fine for me, i just got done burning it last night, i was able to get up to the first controllable part of the game but shut it off since i was going to bed. But i used Memorex DVD-R at 6X and i'm using Swap Magic V2 in a Slim PS2.
Intel Pentium 4 3.2GHz HT Processor, PQI Power 1GB PC3200 DDR RAM, 2 Western Digital 7200RPM 200GB HD, Nvidia GeForce 6800GT Graphics Card, Thermaltake Xaser III LanFire Case, Rosewill 19" LCD Monitor.

Hello-
I used DVD Decrypter to to make an image of Spartan - Total Warrior
Steps I took to make Image:
1. Open DVD Decrypter
2. ISO- Read
3. Put PS2 game (DVD) in DVD burner drive.........it read the disk
4. Then selected folder on Hard Drive for destination.........
5. Once it was done with making ISO image, I clicked ISO - Write
and selected My DVD burner drive.
6. DVD Decrypter says back up is sucessful.
7. Used Swap Magic 3.3 with flip top to HOPEFULLY play this game....
8. Nothing happens...........
Is there something I can do to make this work. I looked at the list of working DVDs and it had Spartan- Total Warrior on there.
PLEASE ADVISE

Hi,
I recently purchased a Magic Switch Pro V2 and SM+ 3.6 for my Slim ps2 v12(70012). I tried using them on my burned beatmania games, dragon quest 8(US) and Narutimette hero 3 and I am getting some weird results. THey worked fine with SM 3.3 on the fat ps2.
Beatmania IIDX 6-10 they all load (albeit aabit longer to load now with SM 3.6), but when I want to play a song it loads the level but no botes or music plays. Dragon Quest 8 takes long to load in various spots with SM 3.6(Sm 3.3 on fat ps2 was normal load time.) Narutimette Hero 3 just doesnt load( worked with 3.3).
I am beginning to wonder if its more of a burning problem. My dvd burner is only a 2x burner. It could be the type of DVDR too. I just wanted to know if anyone else had these probs and if so what did you do about them. Thank you.

i got a question...
there is a list posted in thi s thread wich contains the list of games that can be played on SwapMagic 3.6. Splinter Cell : Chaos Theory is one of them. Ive tried many time to backup this game, but without success. Could someone please tell me how to backup this game. Anny help would be appreciated.

Hi all. I just ordered a Swap Magic 3.6 and Switch set for my PAL slimline ps2 along with a US import of Dragonquest 8 ($100 AUS :o). Anyway, i have a cd and dvd burner, and i have downloaded metal slug 4 cd file. It's 128 meg. Do i just burn it to a regular cd and that's that? Or do i need to use another method?

a) i don't have the original, and b) all i need is basic instructions on how to burn...

to cd so that it will run with my swap magic and switch. Do i just do a Nero burning rom iso cd at 8x or some other method? Thank you for anyone who actually helps.
