Only have one last suggestion: Try making a backup and see if it will run. Import backups (esp. from Japan) usually work with the Swap Magic discs.

Thank you very much for that suggestion, but I don't have a DVD burner. I do plan on getting one soon though, so as soon as I do, I will try that. Thank you, really.

Been digging about, and apparently a lot of people say that the KoC games do actually work with Swap Magic, so it is not a problem with the games themselves... or Swap Magic.

cant get darkwatch to work freezes at first load screen using decrypter at 2x and verbatim dvd-r

That's one possibility, TrisXkain, though it's too early to say for certain. Other original games work fine?
Darkwatch works okay for me, so try changing the burning speed and/or program. I used Alcohol 120% and burned at 4x myself.

I used to have Fire Pro Wrestling Z for the PS2 (an original CD import), and that worked fine. Since then, I've bought Fire Pro Wrestling R (an original DVD import), which, as well, works fine. Is this a good sign?
By the way, thanks for all the help you're giving me, if I couldn't get an answer here, I wouldn't know where else to go.

Has anybody backed up The Sims2 on PS2?
I have burned two copies of it and neither are getting beyond the boot screen..

The Sims 2 works okay, yes, though the load times are intense.

darkwatch wasnt much of a game anyway so to hell with it im fine with resident evil 4 tho but i gotta beat the game all over to get the new features that are on the ps2 version even though i have almost all of them on gamecube *shrugs*

The Warriors (PAL) and Rainbow Six: Lockdown (PAL) both work fine with SM3.3 on my v12.

will PS2 Fifa 2006 usa work with swap magic 3.6 n fliptop????? because i get it to burn then i start to play it, but right after i pick my teams and the game starts to load...the game freezes? ive burned twice already and same thing happens. what do i do????

Did you try burning at a lower speed?
Also the quality of media you are using will factor in the process....
