Okay,
You can remove Gradius V from the list. I've conquered this puppy. Here's how I did it.
1. Created image of the game with "Record It Now", saving the image to just my c:\ folder (root folder).
2. Opened the image in ISOBuster. Wrote down the files and folders in the order they appeared. (29 total objects)
3. Extracted all images to a folder I have created called "iso_extracted_files."
4. I used DVDScan Lite on all of the files and folders found in the "iso_extracted_files" folder, and let it patch the
the appropriate key files so that I could burn the image to DVD.
5. Opened CD/DVD Gen, then...
A. Added all of the files in the order they appeared in Isobuster.
B. Clicked the Volume tab, and keyed in the Slus wording in the first box, then the 20712 in the second box.
C. For the "producer" box, I keyed in Playstation.
D. Clicked the Record button.
E. Clicked OK and OK on the two errors.
F. Clicked "file/export", and named it "Gradius_V", saving it to my desktop.
6. Used IML2ISO to rebuild the files that CD/DVD Gen created.
A. Clicked the three dots at the end of the 2nd box.
B. Double clicked the gradius_v.iml file.
C. Clicked the "start" button for the program, to create the
final image, which I saved to my desktop.
7. Burned the image that IML2ISO created to DVD using DVD Decrypter.
8. Tested the game. Test was successful!!!
** To regain hard-drive space...
9. Deleted all gradius_V related IML files.
10. Deleted both the initial and rebuilt image of the game.
11. Deleted all files inside of my iso_extracted_files folder.
Game plays excellent with the Swap Magic 3.6 DVD Loader disc!!

Uh... I already had Gradius V under "Working CD games." :?
There wasn't any need to copy the files and burn it to DVD, it worked fine with the Swap Magic 3.3 CD.

wouldn't it be a good idea to always put your new games in your first post in a different color? That way it's easy to see the last games you added...

I don't think that is even possible; in any case, I wouldn't know how to do it. In addition, there's not really any reason to, since everything is in alphabetical order anyway.
btw, no CD games non-working any more. Turns out the problem games I had were mostly my own fault for backing them up the wrong way =.=

Can someone list or pm me the complete file order of the Monkey ball deluxe game.
you can find this by opening the image file using Isobuster, & take a note of the file order.
thanks, very much appreciated ;)

Weird, shouldn't be any problems with Super Monkey Ball Deluxe since it's only 2.08 GB. Not sure if you will save much space since the data files themselves seem to be 2.06 GB. Not to mention that the game seems to work fine for me ;) There are some definite loading times for each level, sure, but nothing terribly noticeable. Probably more of a media thing.
Anyway, here's the file order, courtesy of ISObuster, regardless:
DATA (folder)
MODULES (folder)
0FLIST.DIR
BASEBALL.BIN
BILL.BIN
BOAT.BIN
BOWLING.BIN
DOGFIGHT.BIN
EXOPTION.BIN
FIGHT2.BIN
FUTSAL.BIN
GOLF2.BIN
MAINGAME.BIN
OPTION.BIN
PILOT2.BIN
RACE2.BIN
SEL_NGC.BIN <-- lol, file ported over from the Gamecube game?
SEL_STG.BIN
SHOOTING.BIN
SLUS_209.18
SYSTEM.CNF
TENNIS.BIN
TESTMODE.BIN
Good luck!

thanks for the superfast reply pretense.
So these loading times are normal between each stages, right?
anyway thanks a million dollars mate for the file list ;-)
My file size was ~3.5GB, I will rebuild & see if that makes any difference.

SSX On Tour (NTSC-USA) is 4,698,341,376 bytes, or 4.37 GB. This is bigger than the Swap Magic's 4.35 GB TOC, so feel free to rebuild if you want since the game is oversized. Even so, like quite a few other oversized games, the game does in fact work and boot without rebuilding, so it's not really necessary.

man, i can get cd games working but i cant get dvd games working. I'm using hp cd-rs and dvd-rs.
Anyway, just wanted to say Marvel vs Capcom 2 backed up very easily. All i did was throw it in, burn a ps2 image with alcohol, then burnt the image to disc.
works better then the orginal copy, considering i cant play blue bottom discs on my ps2

Don't know what to say, because it works for me (and everyone else, it seems). I don't have any advice except for the age-old "good media/best speed for your burner" maxim.
For the record, I used a Ridata G04 DVD-R at 4x on my slimline v12 with SM 3.3.
By the way, Shining Force Neo only just came out in retail so I wouldn't know if it works. Some people had problems with the Japanese version, though.

Hi! I'm Tim. I'm having some trouble, I was hoping somebody could help.
I use the Swap Magic 3.6 in conjunction with the the ghost switch on the Slimline PS2. I know I have the ghost switch set up right, because I am able to play one or two burned DVD's, as well as an imported DVD. But, no matter what I do, I can't seem to play the Japanese import wrestling games King of the Colosseum Green and King of the Colosseum II. I don't really know how to expand on the problem. After the swap magic DVD version loads up, I put in the DVD, tell the swap magic to load it, and am promptly sent to a black screen. Anybody got any ideas? Would be much appreciated.

Shining Force NEO (NTSC-USA) has a TOC of 2.51 GB (2,703,917,056 bytes) and works fine with Swap Magic 3.3.
I use Alcohol 120% almost all the time for PS2 burning (make sure you set Data Precision Measurement to High for Data Type: Playstation 2 under Options --> General --> Data type setting). Sometimes I use Nero Burning ROM for PS2 CDs. What media do you use?
TrisXkain: Sounds like your Swap Magic DVD is working properly, it's just not loading those particular import games. I haven't tried those games out myself. I'm assuming you use a NTSC TV?

Well, I bought my TV in the US, so yeah, I'm assuming it's an NTSC TV. You mean that could make a difference?
Here's the weird thing though; I have played KoC Green on a friend's fliptopped PS2. Not to pry into my personal life, but I have two friends with Fliptops; Andy and Greg. I brought it to Andy's house a few months ago, and it worked. When I tried to play it at home, it did not work. And when I brought it to Greg's house to try it, again, it didn't work. So the behavior on these particular games is very odd. We don't know what else to try to make it work.

I either have the games myself, or I look them up at ps2nfo's list of TOC sizes.
Hmm, weird! I only mentioned the PAL/NTSC thing because you'd have to change the video mode if you didn't have a NTSC TV (Japanese games are NTSC). But yeah, I don't know why it would work on one and not another -- unless it was a media thing. Are you trying to run import originals, or import backups? If it's the latter, than it's possible that your particular burn reads well on one particular PS2 and not another; it's a known fact that certain versions of PS2s can't read DVD+Rs, or read one type (DVD-R or DVD+R) better than another. That's pretty much all I can come up with; you might want to switch up media and try again. (Then again, slimlines are supposed to read both minus and plus media fine.)
If you're using originals, though, then I'm out of clues.
