:( I can't believe I lost my SM DVD disc. Curses. If I can't find it, I'll just have to get a new one. I wish they sold them at an actual store.

i wasnt arguing with anyone, nor am i arguing now. i simply dont understand why some of you are being so incredibly hostile when there is no need for it.

ok hey all whats up .. now i am trying to find out how to "back-up" a ps2 game that i ripped or downloaded ... so some ideas on how i can burn games would be nice..... i also need to kno how to make it work in my system....

what do i do if i am downloading a game then burning it. when i download a game the file come is about 15 differetn rar files. how do i burn games that i download

I need help!!!! I have DVD encrypter and everytime i put in my PS2 game in my dvd rom drive, it's never present. It doesnt show up on my computer or on DVD encrypter. WTF should I DO?!??!?!?! PLEEZ help!!!! and thanks in advance!
P.S. Do I need a mod-chip? If thats wat my problem is?

are you sure it is a dvd game and not a cd game, if your computer wont read it then you probably need to update your drivers firmware, and also do you have another drive to burn with if so put it in that drive (dvd burner drive) if you do not have a dvd burner then go to the store and buy a dvdburner they run approx $100
do you mean you have DVD Decrypter or encrypter???

Allrighty then... here goes.
Ive tried to find a solution from theese pages bout backuppin a game no luck, so ill have to ask.
Got the game on my pc, got dvd decryptor. i know how to burn iso's i have backupped bout 3 games now did em all with the dvd decryptor.
The problem is that i got bout 30 files (cfn-sor.r30 thats the name of the 30th file) of the game i want to back up in the folder of the game and the dvd decryptor doesnt recognize eny of them. dvd decryptor version is 3.5.4.0... and ive loaded the game cuz my lil bro shredded the original dvd and got his asskicked.
so please help me when ya can. :)

Im pretty sure they are .rar files
Im guessing you downloaded the game?
You have to extract the ISO from the files using WinRAR
If you dont know how ...

yes use WinRAR and extract the first file, then burn the iso wth DVD Decrypter ,and yes that was in this thread

The best modchips to buy are either the Matrix Infinity Green Dot,
or DMS4 EZI PRO/LITE

Yeah you still need swap magic or a modchip,
Dvd decrypter is a way of burning games, not a way of making them play. Think about it ...
