i found a way to play games that dont work with swap magic! im not sure if it works though. ive heard that it does from many people.

METHOD

1. Burn the .iso file which is in the CDLOADER zip file below to CDR- using easy cd creator 5 or something similar that works with .iso files.
2. Insert your Swap Magic v2.0 "CD" disc and boot it.
3. Swap it with the CD-R you just burned using the Flip-Top Cover or similar method.
4. Once it boots (very obvious), eject the CD-R using the PS2 *EJECT* button.
5. Insert your Swap Magic 2 "DVD" disc (other PS2 original with a high TOC may work also)
6. Press X when the original is recognized in the lower left of the screen.

This will NOT boot your game!!! It will simply stop the DVD from spinning so you can swap!

7. Now swap with your DVD-R backup you wish to boot using the Flip-Top Cover or similar method.
8. Press X.
9. There you go!

you need cd loader but it souldnt be too hard to find.

heres some other things you can do with cdloader

1)if you press triangle then it will eject the tray for you
2)if you leave the cdloader in (don't swap it) and press x then it goes to another menu where you are able to boot multiple game dvd's (dvd's with 1-3 games on them)
3)pressing square switches between pal/ntsc
4)pressing circle switches between spanish/english language
One problem though it doesn't work with version 7.

yeah just dont stare at the beam when it's on. you can look at it but you dont want to be over the top of it with the beam in your eyes. retina damage. plus it's just plain silly :)
thats a government rule they have to label certain devices that are considered hazardous.
but you aren't going to like grow a 3rd arm out of your back or anything from it.

oh alright, but how dangerous is it when you are inserting the swap disc or the copy?

none at all, during the swap the laser is off, you never see the beam (but if you get the white cover like mine, you see the laser reading the disc thru the top. it's pretty cool, makes me want to put a light mod in it.
