bigerblue I also had that same problem. I went to the link and follwed the instructions. Hopefully you have the WIndows XP disc, if not it appears that andrew may have the file you need. http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;305521
Also andrew has been doing an awesome job at getting people the programs needed to do this, but there are a couple of similar programs that do the same thing. For instance I used ISObuster to break the ISO. Also you can actually make an ISO using MS-DOS, which is what I did. It is quite simple. Also you should be able to find the CDDVD Gen via Edonkey or Emule.
To make an ISO through MS-DOS follow these instructions

When you are using CDDVD Gen same the files directly to the C: drive don't put them on the desktop or in a folder or anything

When CDDVD is done creating the images click the windows start button and click run

Type in cmd and hit enter
at this point you should see the MS-DOS window appear

type cd c:\

then it should take you to

c:\>

at this point type

copy /b starwars.000 + starwars.001 starwars.iso

now I personally saved the files in CDDVD Gen as starwars which is why it says starwars.000 etc. If you named your files something different then type that instead

hit enter and MS-DOS should now say

starwars.000

Just wait for a short while (10-15 minutes) and the iso will be ready to burn. Just use whatever program you usually burn with.
A lot of people use DVD Decrypter, I personally use RecordNow Max.

Hope this helps. I am posting this not to make it more confusing but to help. So please let me know of any problems you have. And again big thanks to Andrew for all his help in getting the prgrams out there to everyone who has needed them.

Good Luck everyone

Hey I am new at all of this too...I am using V7 ps2 with Swap Magic....SW: Battlefront did give me some trouble until I tried DVD Dcrypter version 3.5.1.0 and I backed up Battlefront no problems. The only thing I noticed but in my opinion it is minor for a game like this...is that the music track skips every once in a while...the game play is flawless. I just go into the options and turn off the music. And the game loads fast too.
I am also using Kodak DVD-R ( I think they are manufactured by Ritek).

Hope this helps.

xplicatt,

after you creted the image file with Sony CD/DVD Gen
did you make one ISO file from the 2 star wars files that were created?
The files you created via CD/DVD Gen should have 000 and 001 after the file name
You have to combine them together using either MS-DOs or an ISO building program.
Also cogswap is not neccessary to boot this game. At least I do not have to use it myself.

ok as i said early

once you have extracted the iso
open cdvdgen create new project ok
dvd-rom master disc ok
in directory put the file in exact order that they apper in iso buster.
in volume
disc name is the same as the 1 in your list sles *****
forgot the numbers
producer name i put playstation

now hit record
save as i used star.iml

you get two errors click ok on both.
now the recording screen, click file EXPORT IMAGE ,save as star.lst
when thats finish you will have two files i used star
so star.000 and star.001
if you use cdvdgen iso builder
open it click files put the two *.000 and *.001 in
give it a desternation then click build.

thats is it your iso is done.

if you use ms-dos to make your iso ask SCORSESE.
