atleast intel is on the ball with conroe and yonah, being the first to incoperate 65 nm publicly. and they said by 2008-9 they will have 45 nm's out there.
But they all do sort of the same thing, and that is rearrange what you thought was real, and they remind you of the beauty of very simple things. You forget, because youre so busy going from a to z, that theres 24 letters in between... You turn on... tune in... and you drop out...

have fun with sleeping. i'll only be wishing i was.
you know, i think this whole resale ban is just for downloadable materials. so like videos downloaded cant be transfered to a pc for distribution, and require a signal from the ps3 to work right.

you know, somthings been on my mind. sony clamed 3 million units for launch at the start. now they are saying two million 5 months before the launch. i hope it doesnt drop further, or we may see a launch delay for everyone but japan. i dont get why they are releasing in japan first, they dont have the strongest of support there as they do here.

i thought sony always released their gaming stuff first in japan, and considering they are a japanese company it only makes sense to me. everyone will have waited this long, i don't think the week or so in between is going to make a big difference. i like how they are atleast trying to stick to their roots. although the 360 was short on supply anyway, i think m$ would have benefited more had they waited to release the 360 in japan instead of doing what they did. it would have made available many more units in europe or north america, and im positive every last one would have been sold, compared to what happend in japan as units sat on the shelf.....

yeah, japan is not where they belong, and sales numbers in the lower thousands per month say that well.
and the launch of the 360, they only had 800,000 units available. the ps3, right now, will have 2 million, but thats for almost world wide launch. i'm preordering sometime when i stop spending money on other things.

Yes that was an interesting figure from Sony. The buzz around the internet is attributing this to previously noted low Cell yields and also to shortages of the laser diode for the BluRay drives:

Note that Sony is planning to launch its standalone BD player a month prior to the PS3 so they have 2 product lines that need this diode.

sell your 360. you'll have anought if you sell all the bits and raise a bit of cash from a few days of work. or just save up and get it in the late winter.
i agree it will be well enjoy for years. its probably the only console ill ever go back and play again once the later next-gens come out because of what it offers and the realisim it brings already. unless of course sony does well and ps4 is released, and its completely backwords compatable.
i think at the ps4, they need to stop backwords compatability for the ps1 and ps2, because the ps3 will be cheap and still good by then, and it would seem really redundant to live that far in the past. cant say i would mind it tho if they didnt stop, but its an idea for saving cost i wouldnt mind either.

you'll be amazed. hl1 is fun but hl2 is the best. play in order tho. im playing thru hl2 on hard and im almost to the citadel.
