Thanks for clarifying your backward dates in the UK Creaky :D
US release is 1/20/09 but looks likes this one was defeated before the official release date.
I think Hitch was another one that had a ton of threads too.

I have come to chew bubble gum and kick some of Jigsaw's encryption. What do I find ? Slysoft has beaten me :)

Maybe not iluvendo - you know we'll always have those that haven't a clue on how to search (or are just to friggin lazy), update their software or even how to use it :)

Well Jo, I remember Saw 3 & 4 having new encryption which took Slysoft and the dvdfab teams a few days to beat. Saw 3 was my first time using aD, and the number of threads was astounding. I think I had to go thru 7 or 8 before I found the correct one. Each other one I clicked on was shut down after 8 or 9 posts before I found the "official" one.

Actually the SAW flics to me are chic flics. Nothing like a nice hottie next to you looking for protection, especially from the demented JigSaw. Lol... Throw Hostel and the Australian flic where they're captured by that Aussie and really tortured. Help me w/the title if you'd like. Senior moment right now.

I have to say I was very impressed Fab Plat took care of this mad puppy in 1 fell swoop. I knew to search the forum as the last time someone posted earlier than me also. Doing the search lets me know straight off the back if they're were going to be any issues. That way my expectations wouldn't be that high.
I did Movie only but in DVD 9 mode. Then ran it through FixVts and then compressed w/another of the goodies we know about. It's ready to go into the fire. I'm laying off the discs thing a lil as it's getting ridiculous. New strategy is keep all my flics on separate hd, and burn a disc and watch it on my other pc via MPC w/FFd Show. The other pc's my guinea pig. I had VLC on my sweet spot and it took over my files and interfered w/some of my proggies so the player is on the guinea pig w/some ImgBurn and maybe I'll add Plat.
Unbelievable though all those cells it removed. Great Kudos to Fengtao for this lil devil.

Since the GM missed the last 4 Saw threads, I just had to drop by and see what all the fuss was about. ;) So it comes out in Mid-Jan here (US) and Early March in the UK?? hmmmmmmmmm... So where'd this fella get that nice little copy to mess with so early?? :P
oh.... btw what is anyDVD, DVDFabDedrypter, DVD Shrink or whatever... and how does I use 'em?? :D

Do you all know how much artery cement is in Country style steak? I sell almost 200 of these things a day to good ol' southerners and they love it.
Back on topic, It is one week until Saw 5 comes out now, and I'm sure that Slysoft has access to a pre screener disk somehow and has already beaten the encryption to death by now.

I'm also looking forward to viewing Saw V. Twisted mind. The local rentalries have the Saw v discs now. As I have said before people get these early by owning the store, working in the store, or doing someone who works in the store!

Lil OT here but heck.
I really had to shake my head and laugh when I found out Sony made the chip for the xbox, and MS is not going to come out w/any new versions of the xbox, but rather improve on the latest one. Blu-ray's going to disappear folks. They're pulling all the stops, but still won't lower the prices on their ps3's.

its not working in dvdfab hd. 5230. As soon as it starts to read the dvd, about quarter way it freezes and the dvd reader stops.

Hell of a lot better than IV. I thought so anyway. Hope it just doesn't get to the stage where Jason n Freddy are as well as Michael Meyers. These guys don't die, and they come back as comedians. Michael pretty much stays to his evil powerful roots though.

I used AnyDVD 6.5.1.8. and RipIt4Me to extract the files to a temp folder on my C: drive, then used DVD Shrink to compress it.
Worked perfectly.
