hi guys need some help if poss tried to flash my box using kuro downloaded fine/default scan/power scan but comes up with NO TRANSPONDER TO SCAN. have been told it needs new code input am on nthell manchester using 6887 sym rate any help much appreciated plus how to put code in please

hi again, just to claify what box it is system info as follows DVB-XC Box V TDA 1.0 STC4 Apr 18 2008 2.0t K5 v001 KURO after iv downloaded kuro 18 4 08/power scan comes up with no channels i added uk list&frequencies from eamos still comes up no channels am on ntl manchester not in ireland many thanks for the help to press

Press the Menu button on your remote, and then go into 'Config' menu and select 'Clear Data'
It will then ask for your PIN (default is 0000 or 1004)
Then select 'Factory Default'
It will then ask you to select the symbol rate use 6.887
Press OK when 'Reset to Factory Default Settings' comes up
It will then say 'Wait to Factory Settings' and will then start to do a Full Power Scan (using the Symbol rate you selected earlier 6887
It will then search through for channels, , do not interrupt it until it finishes.
It wil then exit to allow you to view your programs, but the code being updated message will probably come up for a while,
Put the box onto Sky Sports . It may only take a few mins but again do not interrupt it (even if you think it is not working!)
Sky Sports will come up and all your channels will be back and you won't have to manually enter your codes anymore.

thanks 4 the advise but still getting the same response, although when i go to user intallation an yellow comes up nagra edit theres no numbers all zeros so i put in then default/power scan an still no channels after the scan says "channel not currently available" plus i cant do a manual scan as it wont let me add a channel number any ideas thanks

You need to know what area you are in Manchester 1 or 2. and please edit your post quickly please and remove those.

Have you scanned on both Symbol rates, and I know it may sound silly but have you got a live cable feed into the RF IN socket of EV, and please edit your post at the top right hand side that has a notebook symbol.

At the top right hand corner of your post there is a notebook and pen icon - just click on it and it will allow you to edit your own post.

Yea Manchester 1 is 6.887 and Manchester 2 is 6.952. so you may get sorted now - good luck and let us know the outcome, but it is best to do a Factory reset before a new scan.

As im in Ire , i'm not too up on diff areas and freq , just seen N*L and knew it was 6887 lol
Thanks for the info and at least I know the diff between 1 and 2 for Manchester ha ha :)

hi people, need some help with euro vox max v im ok with the software but my problem is when i connnect the cable from tthe laptop to the eurovox it cannot find the receiver and i have checked to make sure the cable is connected properly and i have done it on other boxes and it worked fine any ideas thanks in advance

Hi Celtic, yes I know what you mean, and yes they are all on NTL in Manchester, just that it's NTL Ex C & W, but the same goes for area 1 & 2 (don't really know why two different symbol rates - take care :)

when i go onto download another screen comes up but it says system reset and is jammed on there and wont go another further, any idea what i do now??

disconnect your box and try again make sure your using the proper cables

done a power scan all the cannels came up but it says in sert card on my movies and sports
as anyone got the fireware and how to do it
