You need to use ISObuster on the first image that DVD Decrypter created for you. If you follow the steps I previously listed, your game will work. There is no other way to get it to work, and the type of Blank dvd you are using is not the issue.

1. Create the image with DVD Decryptor.
2. Drag the image into ISOBuster (the iso file).
3. Write down the names you see.
4. Now, make a new folder called "iso-rebuilt."
5. Press Cntrl A in ISOBuster to highlight all files.
6. Right click and "extract to" the "iso-rebuilt" folder.
7. When that is done, close ISOBuster.
8. Open the program CD/DVD ROM Generator.
A. Click "new project."
B. Select DVD.
9. Looking at your "iso-rebuilt" folder, drag each file over into
the CD/DVD Rom Generator in the order in which you wrote them
down earlier.
10. Click the "volume" button at the top.
11. For the Disc name, put in Slus, then the number
NOTE: the number is found on one of the file names.
12. For Producer, put in Playstation
13. Click the Record button.
14. You get two errors, this is correct.
15. Click File/Export IML, dump them to your desktop.
16. When this is done, close the program.
17. Open up gdvd4-iml2iso, and have it open the first .iml file
by clicking the ... at the end of the iml box name.
18. Click the Start button on the program.
19. It is now building you a new image of the game.
20. Once done, close that program, open up DVD Decrypter, and have
it burn the new image. From there, you can use DVD Decrypter
to create another image of this burned cd to make "copies" for
your friends without having to go through all of the above
steps over again. This only needs to be done for each new
game title.
I've burned both games you've had an issue with, using my steps, and both games work successfully.

My steps are very very clear.
Step 9: Open CD/DVD Rom Gen
A. Select "new project"
B. Select "dvd."
C. Move the window for CD/DVD Rom Gen over to the left a bit.
D. Open up the iso-rebuilt folder (the folder to which you extracted
the files into using ISOBuster.
E. Look at your written list to where you wrote down the files as
they appeared in ISOBuster.
F. Drag the files into CD/DVD Rom Gen in the order you wrote them down.
G. Once you have all the files dragged over, click the Volume button.
H. For the name, put in SLUS then the number in the next box leaving
out the decimal point. One of the files from the image reveals
the number you need.
I. For the name, put in "Playstation." (no quotes)
J. Click Record.
K. You get two errors, this is correct.
L. Click File/Export IML File, and direct them to the desktop.
M. Once this done, close CD/DVD Gen, and go to step 13 of my how-to.

Hey. Ok so after I get the .IMG file then I use the ISOBuster program to shorten the size of the game. That makes sense.
Does anyone know where I can get .ISO files over the internet? A place where I can find the .ISO for a game(ex. gran turismo), download it, then just use my ISOBuster and burn it to DVD. Has anyone done this or know a place where I can aquire these image files.
Thank You
-Gila
P.S I use the name '.ISO' & 'image' interchangably. From what I understand when someone says .ISO file, they mean teh images file decrypted from the source correct?
Thanks Again

Ok I got everything working ok. I took the new IMG called PANDORA.IMG and burned using DVD Decryptor. I burned it at x1 for the write speed. It is a DVD-R disc. I followed steps above and it still says that the game is not a format PS2 game. Please help. Ill list my steps so anyone can tell me what I did wrong.
1. Dvd Decryptor decrypted PANDORA.IMG
2. I use ISOBuster to take out the files.
3. Use Cd/DVD Rom Gen to create an xml. I clicked volume and then record. Saved it as pandora.xml I entered all the information in correctly also.
4. I then used XML2ISO clicking my NEW pandora.xml and created the New pandora.img file.
5. Used DVD Decryptor to burn the pandora.IMG.(The new one created from the XML2ISO program)
What could I have done wrong??
Thanks-

this thread has got to be the best piece of comedy writing i've ever seen lolol.
"i don't have time to read the thread and find out how to do it. so tell me how you do it" lmao!!! then you don't have time to farkin back up your disks either.
"what do i use to...(342 times)" READ THE GD THREAD!
"where do i find ....(342 times)" see above.
"where can i buy..(342 times)" USE GOOGLE: HOW TO USE GOOGLE: open web browser of choice(it's that tiny picture thing on the tv screen thing in front of you that says "internet") look for a box with a vertical (vertical looks like this :( | ) line flashing. push the following buttons on that rectangular thing that is sitting in front of the tv looking thing in front of you in the following order: WARNING! DEVIATION MAY CAUSE ERRORS! G O O G L E .( do not put in the little dot thing: that just ends that part of the instructions) now press the button that says "enter".
hey! now you're at google!
repeat the above procedure at the "google" page except WHERE THE LINE ( | ) THING IS FLASHING press the little buttons so as to spell what it is you're looking for. (IE: s w a p m a g i c).
now move the pointy arrow looking thing to one of titles that came up using that thing that looks like a square bisquit with some buttons on it and press (that's "click" to all you 7EET out there")
one of the buttons until something happens.
there ya go!
now can someone please come to my house, bringing the appropriate programs, hardware, games i'll list when you call to verify, blank media, and burn backup copies of em for me? i'm too busy downloading porn.
TIA!
God WAS my co-pilot, but we crashed in the mountains, and i had to eat Him.

people I need help big time and I don't no where to post for it...
I have Swap Magic 3.6, and my PS2 is open so you can say its Flip-Top
FIRST GAME EVER I burnt on my DVD writer was "The Puncher" and it works perfectly, right after it I burnt Driver 3... However, that does not work... it loads on to a black screen and that is it, the CD keeps spinning but nothing happens!
Today I rented "Tekken 5" & "Batman Begins" ... copied them the same way as I did puncher, but this time it tells me *Not A Valid PS2 CD*
I?m confused... the files on the original DVD-CD and the backup are identical, what the hell could be the problem? I need serious help, because I am being stressed and pissed and annoyed by this!
If you must know:
-Used DvD-Encrypter
-Read the game on to C:/ Drive
-Burnt The ISO File that was extracted to the C Drive at 4x & 2x
-DVD-R being used x8 speed Samsung pleomax
-Sony double layer DVD writer with 16x speed and the whole deal!
But yea... I did the steps over n over for all other games, but only the first "The puncher" worked... =S
PLEAS HELP SOMEHOW, anything would be great! Thanks
F.T who i be...
