The CDLoader V7 is an extended boot disk. It's a shortcut for not having to employ ISOBuster and CD DVD Gen. Simply put, my friend, you burn the image in the zip file to a new, blank DVD. Then...

1. Insert Swap Magic DVD Boot disc.
2. When the menu says "load program", swap out the Swap Magic disc, and insert the CDLoader V7 disc you burned. It will then prompt you to load your game. In turn, the game shouldn't stutter any more during the movie scenes.

Glad to be of help,

I vote that he be allowed back in here.
That won't happen at least as digital9x. He can always rejoin, and this time read the forum rules and follow them.

Or have you already joined back as gamer?

The FBI took down the DVD Decrypter site, but yet the software is made available here.
These servers are based in Finland and don't follow the same copy protection laws as other places. That is why DVD Decrypter is still being hosted here. The admins have posted that.

And the forum rules are clear. There are 12 simple rules. And some specific amendments to the rules regarding piracy. If you don't like them or can't follow them .... leave.

It's not hard, Digital9x may have been very helpful .. but that doesn't give him the right to ignore the forum rules.

Hello everyone,

Well, the moderator said that ol' Digital9x could return, but not using the name "digital9x". So, here I am, back in the flash. I'll keep the "goodie" files screened as far as links go. However, if anyone needs anything, just PM me or message me on Yahoo IM. I also use MSN Messenger as well.

Okay, with that said, I just conquered duplicating the game "World Series Poker." It's an online game as well to where you connect with Gamespy (I hope that's not considered advertisement, but just a fact of the game.)
Any way, you have to patch the DNAS300.img file found inside of the IOP folder of the game. I would give you the ID number for it, but one, that might be considered "breaking the forum rules," and secondly, if we all used the same ID key, it might not let us all play online at the same time. I found that to be an issue when playing Command and Conquer games online.
Here's the breakdown on how I duplicated the game.

1. Inserted Swap Magic DVD boot disc into my PS2.
2. At the Load Program screen, I inserted the Disc Identifier CD.
3. Pressed X, and the Disc Identifier window appeared.
4. It stated to insert game, then press X.
5. I removed the Disc ID cd, inserted the retail version of the game.
6. Pressed X.
7. Three categories of numbers appeared. I jotted down only the
DISC ID number.
8. I removed the game and inserted it into my PC, and had DVD
Decrypter create an image of it.
9. Once the image was created, I opened the "my computer" icon,
then the dvd drive icon to view the game files.
10. I found only one image file on there. It is located in the
/IOP folder. It's the DNAS300.img file.
11. Next, opened ISOBuster, then loaded the image file for the
game. DVD Decrypter named the file "slus_21301.iso."
12. Opened the IOP folder, then clicked on the DNAS300.img file.
13. Next, I right clicked that file, and had it extracted to a
folder I created called "img_files_to_patch."
14. After extracting the file, I closed ISOBuster, and opened up
the program dnas_id. Then,
A. Clicked the button, "open DNAS."
B. Browsed to my "img_files_to_patch" folder.
C. Double clicked the DNAS300.img file.
D. Clicked the "scan" button.
E. Window popped up stating "DNAS checker routine found."
F. I then entered the Hex code of numbers I saw on the
television screen as the disc ID number in the 5 boxes
provided.
G. I clicked "patch", and the program stated "File successfully
patched."
H. Closed the DNAS ID patcher program.
15. Next, I opened Winimage, and had it open the game's image file.
A. Looking at the files, I double clicked the IOP folder.
B. Next, I clicked "image/inject", and pointed to the DNAS300
file that I just patched.
C. It asked "are you sure..."
D. Clicked Yes.
E. Closed Winimage (which auto saves the changes to the
game's image file at the same time.
16. I then opened DVD Decryptor, loaded the game's image file,
and had it burn a copy.

The burned version loaded smoothly, and I took it straight to the multiplayer option, and selected the Gamespy option. From there, it loaded my network configuration, then did the DNAS check. It passed with flying colors.

My PS2 is confusing me... now its playing Mafia perfect, no glitches, no slowmotion... but ShellShock Nam 67 is not... although i can see from the back of the DVD that the files look like they have been burnt in the right places, once i press X or [] in swapmagic 3.6, it flashes red and goes black... after that it doesnt load...i'm gonna keep trying...

cause with mafia, it was fucking up at first, then worked, then said invalid disc, n now its perfect =s ... i don't understand whats going on!

I'm about to "BACKUP" lol, Fifa Street (PAl) and Getaway 2 - Black monday (PAL)... is there any known probs on thoes?

To Hursty,

"sounds to me like you need to clean the laser"

i got the new ps2 slimline black... aint had it for more then a year i dont think... but umm how do you mean clean it? just from the outside? any special requirments?

"you say you are using ritek's? are they ritek brand or just the ID code thats on them"

I believe the are original's, i have Ritek GO4 and GO5 and TDK Unbranded all DVD-R... i'm waiting for my Philips +R's to arrive, try thoes out.

"what speed you burn at?"
right now i been doing it at 1x... everyone is saying the slower the better...

"some of the games you mention do need some special attention"

mafia is working perfectly now... the NTSC verison needs a Cd_Loader_v7_ALL... not PAL... as for fifa street, i need to return that back tomorrow (16/09/05 before 10pmGMT) so if i can get the fix and back it up asap it would be nice!

if not i'll just hold the image on my computer for a while...

Thanks yo, if anyone has other suggestitions throw em at me! peace...

you need to speed things up,X 4 is the optimum speed for burning games

you need to download the patch from ps2nfo.com,the link is at swapmagicfix.com,so save the iso until you get it,it wont work without it

Hello everyone,

It's Gamer2000 here, aka Digital9x. I've just copied Flip Nic: Ultimate Pinball. There's nothing special needed to copy this game. Simply create an image of it with DVD Decrypter, and burn the image back with DVD Decrypter.
The next game I will copy when I get home from work tonight will be that of "Area 51." It's an online game as well, so I'm sure I'm going to have to patch atleast one DNAS or IOP file. I'll give you the scoop later.

First off you cant download swap magic, it has to be an original for it to work.

And if its not a dual layer game, go MODE>ISO>READ then once thats finished go MODE>ISO>WRITE select the MDS file NOT ISO , select the speed and put in your blank dvd and off you go :)

I'm new to the whole burning PS2 game thing, and I'm having problems. I've got Swap Magic 3.6 and a slide card on a V4 PS2.

All I've got so far are Pro Evolution Soccer 8 burned at 1X on a TDK CD-R, and Street Fighter EX 3 burned at 2X on a generic CD-R. I got both ISOs from Torrentspy.com and neither works. The Soccer game was listed as a DVD rip, but it was only 650MB, so I put it on a CD. Is that a problem, or could it be something with the DNAS id? Is Street Fighter not working simply because it is on shitty media?

I've been reading a lot in this discussion, but I'm not really sure what I'm doing wrong. And for future reference:
1) What is the best speed and media to burn DVDs and CDs?
2) Will I need to go through the whole DNAS id reinsertion process listed above when I try to burn Madden or Live? If so, where can I get the Disc Identifier CD?

Thanks in advance for any help.
