The only problem im having is that its too large of a file for shrink so how do I remove some stuff to make it smaller? I usually don't remove anything from movies so im unsure how to do that. Any help is appreciated.
Thank you and I hope everyone has a very Merry Christmas!!

1Tizz use the reauthor mode in dvd shrink and check and uncheck what you want, doing the movie only is the way to go.

I have been able to backup the movie to mu HDD but I can't get it to burn (IMG) to a disk. I used AnyDVD to access the files and then I am trying to use CloneDVD2. It backs up fine but when I try and burn it on a DVD it rejects the single layer that I am try to use. I backed up only the fullscreen file thinking that it would let me burn it on a single layer but again the burner rejects the dvd. It acts like I have not placed a blank DVD in the burner and continues to scan. Both of these softwares are new to me I had been using ripit4me, decrypter, fixtvs, shrink and Nero/IMG but the newer DVDs are to advanced for these older no-longer-updated software. Does anyone know what I am doing wrong?? Why can't I burn this movie into a DVD?
Thanks.

I tried ripit4me and it did not work. So I tried dvdfab hd decrypter 4 latest version and no luck (the screen disappears). SO I tried AnyDVD(trial) and I got it to work with DVD Shrink but DVD Decrypter did not like it. SO I did AnyDVD, VOB blanker, DVD Shrink and ImgBurn and it seemed like it was ok and then at the end it crapped out(The main movie still plays in my DVD player though).
Last resort was AnyDVD, VOB blanker, DVD Shrink and DVD Decrypter and it worked great. I originally would have tried DVD Decrypter first instead of Imgburn, because it seemed to be the most updated version, however in this instance DVD Decrypter worked better than ImgBurn and it was alot faster.

Well at 1st I was having problems with anydvd and devfab so I just decided to do the movie only using anydvd and then it worked fine then I used IMGburn to burn it and the movie only turned out perfect. The disc is too big to big to keep eveything in tact so I only kept the main movie and it worked fine. Good Luck

Agree with Zoso. Ripping main movie only is the most trouble free way to go on this one. FixVts or VobBlanker are a good idea too.

I'm just wondering what it is about this movie that is causing so many problems with most software. What have they changed on this DVD?

As I stated previously I have been able to back up the movie but I can't seem to burn in on a DVD. IMG is asking for a DVD+R/RW when it tries to burn the DVD. Currently I only have -R. Previous I had +R but ran out of them. I bought -R thinking it would be the same but IMG doesn't seem to like it. Does any1 know why that is? I have ripped other recently released titles with DVD-R on IMG without any issues. The only diference is that I have not used a DVD-R disc on my desktop but have used it on my laptop. I am trying to burn this movie on my laptop but this is the first time I have tried using a DVD-R. Could it be my burner???
-Thanks

I'm about to sound like the smartest person right about now but.....
ZoSo - How do I check the specs on my burner to see if it supports DVD dash R format??
I am pretty new at all this. Don't mean to sound like a complete jck@$$. I've had a DVD burner that is 5 years old and 1 that is 1.5 years old that might not support the DVD dash R format. I didn't know that their was a difference in the way that the burner recognizes them. Here I was thinking that the software had some how become corrupted. Thanks for the knowledge to all here.
thanks
