510TB check all the exploits. search the txt files that come with the exploits and see if that ff9 id is in there. if its not go buy a psx game :). u can get them for 5 bucks now a days used

The ID isn't in any of the files. :(
There's no way you can make one for FF9?

the trouble is m8 that it means using another disc just for 1 id, like he says, buy a used game that is on the id list, it's still a lot cheaper than a mod or sm discs.

I have prepared the exploit ready for conversion to .max, I will send the max file to those who requested it, and avitus is going to host the file for anyone else who wants it.

this is the PAL version btw.

Okay
Can someone name some popular games on the list?
Is FF7 on that list? I was thinking about getting that game anyways.

I can probably get a hold of Grind Session or Megaman X7. Can anyone see if they are on the list?

510TB its kinda hard knowing what extactly is on the list just by looking at the ids. someone would have to own that game so they can verify. but trust me man, the chances of failing to match your id twice is very slim cuz there are 800 psx ids :D.

Yeah, but I just wanna make sure I don't get stuck with a game that won't work and a game that I won't play.

I thought FF9 was a popular game too? Oh well, thanks anyways.

okay it might not be that practical to add just 3 ff games to there own TITLE.DB database and have to burn a cd with it, I will try and make a list of all the psx games that are missing, and eventually make a new set of more complete TITLE.DB databases to use, but for now you actually might just be better off finding a game that you want to go buy used for like 5$, just search on google for the game name you want and most places will show it's Sxxx_xxx.xx ID# next to it, then just look in the list to see if it's there.

Does that mean you're gonna make the .max file for FF9?
That'd be great if you did. :)

I did a little research and came up with some IDs for FF7 & FF8.

FF7
SCUS-94163

FF8 - I found 3 differnt IDs, I don't know why there are different ones.
SLUS-00892 00908 00910

FF7 is in title1.db and FF8 is in Title5.db, so there in there, just not ff9.

Yeah I'm guessing that's the reason why there are 3 IDs.

FF9 is 4 discs. Here's the rest if you need them.

Disc # - ID
1: SLUS-01251
2: SLUS-01295
3: SLUS-01296
4: SLUS-01297

ok the pal .max files have been sent out to those who requested them, they have also been sent to avitus who will no doubt have them available for download soon (cheers), just for your info here is the title id list, it's not as big as ZanQuance's, but that's because I didn't get sent a hell of a lot!, here they are.

510TB lol...better pray he makes u one :). but seriously for everyone else that couldnt match a id. u cant expect all to be there and you can expect Avitus to make a new "updated" one with your psx id. everytime he does this it cost him cds. remember he is doing this for free and beggers arent choosers. Just thank him for his generousity and say U-DA-MAN :D.
once again a psx game can be bought very cheap. also once u compare a psx game to the official hdloader whats the difference...more than $20 dollars on average.

zxspeky, congratz on finishing the PAL version. im sure the "PALian" lol i mean europians are well satisfied.

check this out

http://us.codejunkies.com/news_reviews.asp?c=US&cr=USD&cs=$&r=0&l=1&p=1&i=7839&s=8

so according to that... to play your genesis emu with the max drive all u have to download there autoexec.elf onto your usb key with the software they give you.. then just "Insert your flash drive in one of your PlayStation 2's USB ports, and load your copy of Action Replay MAX. On the title screen, select MAX Media Player, then press 'X' skip the intro. MAX Media Player reads the pen drive and automatically boots PGen."

so does this mean that i could take any .elf file, rename it to autoexec.elf and run through that same process above and it should load automatically right?

drizztxii yes...but most of us dont have the action replay max evo.we only have the max drive. so were limited to transfer not executing :(. but if u do have the max evo, U LUCKY BASTARD!!!....nah just playing. but seriously if u do have max evo, then its going to be alot easier for u to run elfs. however not all elf files will work because some elfs require additional files to run. on the other hard some elfs already have those additional files embedded in them thats why they are able to work :). most "modern" homebrew apps have them embedded. im not going to go into specifics however :P. dont want to turn this thread into a "bootleg hangout".who dont know let them find out on their own....SUPPORT GAME DEVELOPERS !!! :D

test it out 510TB if it works with FF9 then it's good but I believe there is a mistake in the title.db this is the end part of it for ff9:

SLUS-012.51
SLUS-012.95
SLUS-012.96
SLUS-012.97
SLUS_225.08
SLUS_900.49
SCUS-941.63
SLUS_012.51

there isn't supposed to be any -hyphens in there they have to be underscores_and SLUS_012.51 is accidentally repeated twice =( I hope it still works, dang another booboo by me ;o

I'm getting old :(
