How do you use it after you put it onto your memory card

like I said there are guides on using it on the site, but basically, you need a psx game to use as a trigger disc, then you just put the trigger disc in the ps2 and the cogswap loader will boot up, then loading depends on whether you are loading a dvd game or cd game, you will need to use cdloader for dvd games, and just a toc refresh for cd games, if you really want to know more, the guides on my site will explain everything, look at the "making a slide card and loading the exploit" and "making and loading the mem card exploit" links, these are guides that you can download.

if you use the exploit.max save, once you have it on your mem card you will be able to boot cd-r's, then you can make a hdloader exploit disc and install that using the cogswap loader.

Two quick things. First off I can't get the FAPLINK server to work for ,me but I finally decided to forget it and come here to make a couple requests for an updated download. Do you think thatone of you guys could maybe get the latest version of faplink (.87.1 with all the bug fixes) onto the save file along with the maxdrive software, (my ps2 struggles withj the minidisc). Is this even possible? Please let me know.

The only way I was able to get faplink working was to use a crossover lan cable, and not go through my router, then I had to assign an IP address on my pc to something in the 192.168.0.xxx field and drop my firewall software to get it to work, but after that it worked just fine.

first, don't apolagise for your english, most of us brits are to lazy to even bother to learn a second language.
second, you need to un-crush the file to your mem card, not copy it to your mem card.
also check through the id list to make sure you have a game with a disc id# that is the same as one in the list

well I would make an update, but no one is sending me any disc id's, i need a hundred or so to make it worth using the cd-r's, if those in the PAL region posted or pm'd me some id's I could make another exploit save

:) I'll post some of mine here later on - I was kinda hoping that HDloader could also be part of the max drive save so that it could be loaded up with ps2menu - cheeky I know!

Hello.
Scrap that - I had an idea an it worked!
If you uncrush both the PAL and the NTSC updated Max saves onto the sanme mem card - it makes 2 folders.
The PAL one will load up Ps2menu, which you can the use to navigate to the BA system data file and then load up HDLOADER.
Sorted!
:o)

Hmm I might have to program some special .ELF files to do a few things I want:
1. I want to be able to access the data on the PS2's memcard/s from my pc through some link program kinda like how Inlink and PS2Link work.
2. I also want to access the PS2 HDD from my pc and actually be able to write files to it and not just load games, that way I can make special partitions for my data I wish to load onto it.
3. I would also like to access the PS2 in the same fashion we do through the Network Adaptor/USB Ports but instead do it from the Firewire Port to gain alot more uploading and downloading bandwidth (400kb/s instead of 100kb/s)
Once we can do the 3 things above we can then upload any .elf file to the HDD/Memcards and not have to run them through Inlink or burn special cd's just for them to function properly, on top of that we could also upload PS2 games through the Firewire port at much more increased speeds cutting down on the time spent waiting for it to finish uploading data.
Hope I can make this work the way I want it to.

Are you uncrushing the file to your memory card or just copying it? You need to uncrush it, with the Max Drive software to your memory card for the save to work correctly.
