are you kidding? The most I've only gotten was up 722 kbs And I finished a 1.5 GB download in an hour
---------------------------------------------------------------------
I mean that's my speed when I checked in
http://www.speakeasy.net/speedtest/,
Its not my actuall speed in using UTorrent. I hope you don't misunderstand. Anway, if that's your speed in downloading a file, then perhaps you're internet is DSL?

schwaber,
im sorry but can you point out exactly what you still need help with and what i should do with your speed test results? thanks.
yosefg,
thats pretty good speeds, i love downloading my 700 mb movies in 20 mins ;)
socom,
excellent info on the encryption and the bad isp's. i might add those links to my guide.
But as was said, and AS MY GUIDE says, you just simply have to press "enable" not necessarily "forced".

Plus, how do you get that kind of speed? I mean are u using dsl or just cable? Anyway, please help me. Thank you very much.

I am using a 14 Mbit Cable connection, so my speeds are ridiculous.
You should be getting 75 Kb/s max on most highly seeded torrents.

shwaber,
looking at your speed tests, it seems you have a 1 mbit connection.
I pay 45 dollars a month for mine ;)

DVDBack23, I don't get this. Uhmm, I just checked my Network Connections
and I checked my Local Area connection and found out that I got 100.0Mbps speed. Since I'm using a router, I found another connection. It says "1394 connection" and found out that it has 400.0Mbps speed.
Ofcourse, I'm using the Local Area Connection. I just wanna know if the other connection is important.

Hello again, this is getting easier all the time thanks again. But if i can pick your brains again, here is my problem...
I am running a system with duel celeron D 3 gig chips, 2 gig of ram.
Now as i am now getting around 250 kb/s dl my system is no use for anything else.ie really slow and laggy, cant even move my mouse pointer around. I pressume with a system like mine this should not be happening.
Any ideas?

To be honest, I really don't like celeron. I know that this is not much of a help but maybe its because of Celeron. Sorry if this is kinda stupid..

Yeah man you are doing just fine at 250 Kb/s ;)
as for your laggy internet, its because youre upload is too high and it is slowing down your internet.

Hi guys,
I've switched from Azureus to uTorrent as Azureus just kept on slowing my PC down. But with Azureus I used to get download speeds of around 150kb and now I'm using uTorrent and the download speed is about 30kb max and the torrent is good itself. It has 40 seeds and 4 peers and I'm on a 2mb line.
I've tried what DVDBack23 said but I still haven't got good speeds, I've opened my port and my windows firewall is off.I've changed the settings and everything but I'm still getting slow speeds.
Can someone help me please!
