Jonnyme why are you posting a question is about 3.03 oe-c in a devhook thrad? (search for what you need)
multiplayer have worked for me when I emmulating firmware.(I think not all games work)
ps1 emulation is not available using devhook.(only with a mod)look in ps3news
3.03 oe-c games don't work if you don't have a UMD in the dive.(so put a UMD in the drive so all work)
ElXando i think that has to do with lcscheatdevice and vcscheatdevice.(not Devhook)
sniper78 this is not a custom firmware thread.(only Devhook)
put the app's in the GAME150 folder and the iso's are the same for all app's in the ISO folder.
ricardo11 yes you can have the new Devhook and the hybrid in the same MS.(2 in 1) Use WinRAR for split files.
Edit your post.
Yes you will lose 1.5 if you upgrade to 3.11 FW update. but you will not be updating to 3.11.(Devhook will emutale the 3.11FW)
Look at my tutorial in the last page here that is all you need.(it tell you where to go to unflash Devhook)

two part question here.
Question 1: I'm running Devhook V0.56 and ever time i open up my psp it gives me the press circle to continue and configure your settings, is there anyway to not have this happen?
Questions 2: How do i put games in devhook V0.56 do i just create a folder in PSP\GAME called iso so it would look like this PSP\GAME\ISO?

yes there is it emulates 3.03 firmware here ill give you the link:

theres a tutorial on how to install it and on the bottom of the page theres links on the things you need to install it.

if any1 has a problem with HEN-D on 2.71 (its not off topic becuase it is needed for devhook on 2.71), reformat the ms, reinstall hen on ur ms, and then set ur background as a BMP, works wonders
PSP history
2.00 > 2.60 > 2.80 > 2.80 + PSPFiler + xLoader > Brick > New PSP > 2.71 > 2.71 HEN-D > 1.50, 2.00, 2.60, 2.71, 2.80, 2.82, 3.01, 3.11 DevHook rules :)

make sure that in the device hook menu in the "boot mode" option you are choosing "xmb menu"
you dont need to hard reset your psp all the time just flip up the on\off button and the psp will go to sleep mode when you turn on the psp again it will be in the xmb menu (psp menu),if you want to exit device hook and go to 1.5 just press the home button and the device hook menu will show up then choose the option "escape device hook" the psp will reboot,you can also choose another iso from your memory stick in this menu in the option "umd image" use the d-pad to choose another iso then choose the option "close menu" then in the xmb menu go to the umd icon hit x to start the game
you need to create a ISO folder(with capitals) in the root of the memory stick to put the isos or cso (compressed iso) you dont put the ISO folder inside the psp folder or inside of any other folder
ms root:\ISO
the psp folder ,dh folder ,fbm folder and the ISO folder they all go to the root of the memory stick

guys, if i start my psp without the memory stick, the FW's 2.00. does that mean my devhook's flashed?
juan2320, it says in psp-hacks that i'll lose my 1.5 or 2.0 FW if i update to 3.11?
when i go to flash ROM, i see 3 options, backup configfile, install configfile, and remove all devhook files. what should i choose?
can you give me the link where you got devhook 0.52?
and also, can you teach me how to use WinRAR to combine split files? i only know how to extract them.
guys, sorry for the inconvenience as i really don't know much about devhook yet. thank you so much!!! fight the power!!!

Get ALL PSP related stuff including devhook at pspupdates.qj.net. Don't install 3.11 unless your an idiot and want no homebrew. Don't combine split files. Open the first with WinRAR and click extract and it will extract from all of them. You could have found all that out if you had heard of something called "Search". It's a futuristic idea, placed conveniently on every page of this website.

and the iso games go in the ISO folder in the root of your MS.

ricardo11 didn't you get what I told you in my last post?
Yes you will lose 1.5 if you upgrade to 3.11 FW update.
You will not be updating to 3.11. you will use Devhook on your 1.5 psp(that will emutale the 3.11FW) go to my link in this post.
If you start your psp with out the memory stick and your FW is 2.00 then you do not have a 1.5 psp and need to downgrade.(devhook needs the MS in the psp)
in flash ROM remove all devhook files. you can get devhook 0.52 in psp-hacks or go to the link in bullseye6 post.(you will need the new PSAR dumper not the one there)
This is a Devhook thread not for WinRAR.(Search for what you need)and only post for Devhook help here next time.

I need help with my psp! Im a bit of a nub when it comes to them, the problem is that i keep getting "this game cannot be started. The data is corrupted." Every time i try and open devhook on my psp. The firmware im running is 2.71. i tried a different version of devhook and it was just about to load up then it came up with "game cannot be started" 80020148
Very irritated it just wont work.
PLEASE HELP

Guys i need help. Have a serious problem here. I wonder if you guys have encounter it before.
Ok i'm using device hook version 0.52.0100 to emulate 3.11 firmware. Now everything is fine. No problem whatsoever. But sometimes when i tried to save my games while i'm playing. It just hangs with the music still playing. And i have to do a hard reset. It occurs with all the games. When i use back devicehook 0.46 to emulate 2.71 firmware. The problem is gone.
Is this a bug with the newest device hook? PLEASE HELP ME THANKS ! I really appreciate it. :)
This problem has been bugging me coz i have to replay everything again since i can't save game :(

Hi,
I would highly appreciate anybody solving this for me
I need some assistence with my PSP FW 1.5 (DevHook .46 installed), motherboard doesn't have this TAxxx marked on it.
I need to upgrade to latest DevHook v.52, I have read the procedures in this thread for doing so.
What I want to know is can do so without un-installing DW .46 [opt in DW from flash0] if yes do I have to follow the same instructions [PSAR dumper etc] [if possible provide thread link]
Next, after that if I want to remove all this and return to my original FW 1.5 how do I achieve this.
Please help in simple terms as I new to PSP technical terminolgy

Hi, when you are using firmware 3.11 using device hook 0.52, just press the HOME key and select close. Then it will return to the 1.5 platform.

Yo man it's 3.03 to 1.5 find a 3.03 update file and then do the downgrader. You have to have gta liberty city stories also. There is no 3.02 downgrader.
In fact I think we would be fooling our selves if we have a community this large, and did not realize that there are some enemies present. |

Hi,
I just installed .52.100 DH on my PSP FW 1.5 using Nooby's installer for DH .52.100.
I was successfull in doing so, actually it was pretty much made easy by that installer.
Now what I need to know is currently I have to boot my PSP and go to memstick and run DH .52 application from there, do I have to install or uninstall something from flash0 or flash1 prev I had DW .46 installed. I just formatted my MS and proceeded with the install of the new version
Did I do correct , Please let me know, is there a way to direct boot to DW .52

Danos12 downgrade to 1.5 and do you have a game UMD in your drive?
Zaphine I think it's a bug. I will let you know when I test it.
ricardo11 you have to downgrade to 1.5 to use Devhook.(or have 3.03 OE or 3.10 OE)
What FW do you have?
Usrnewpsp yes can install DevHook v.52 with DHv46 on your MS
you will not update your psp.(this is only an app)
to remove all this and return to FW 1.5 turn off your psp or press Home to get a menu in DHv52.
and it's DH.52(not DW.52 ) why did you format your MS after you installed DHv52? (you need to have all the files in your MS)
If you use my tutorial you do not need to flash the flash1.

but if you want you can look in the DHv52 menu after you have dumped the 3.11 FW and flash the flash1.

ricardo11 you can not use DHv46(not DV 0.46) in a 2.0 FW psp.(I do not know how your doing that)
When your psp is flash installed with devhook you still need the MS in your psp so it works.(it does not put the FW in your psp)
and you do not need to take the MS out of your psp to turn off Devhook.(hold the power butten for 5sec)
Try to install the new Devhook and see if it works.

Hi this is my first post on these forums and I have a question. I got a brand new fw 2.71 psp about a week ago. I am to scared to downgrade or flash because I really don't feel like having a shiny new brick instead of a shiny new psp :P I have tried eloader but a lot didn't work on it so i switched to hen-d and devhook. It has been working great so far emulating version 1.5 for homebrew. I was wondering if it was possible and or safe to modify the 1.5 dump in the dh folder to have custom game boots and xmb waves. If so I would greatly appreciate it if some one explained it or posted a link to a guide.

Hey ive tried to downgrade, and it gives me the same error message when i try open the downgrader after its on the memory card. The game could not be started. 80020148
Not sure what i should do
