Thanks very much! That was the problem, although a new problem has come. For some reason while I play my games, the game disc will pop out. It's happening often and disrupting my play. Any tips?

be sure to insert the left side of the disc first, so you get it under the lip that is on the left side of the tray (for vertical use).

Question to anyone:
Does anybody else's Swap Magic 3.0 CD work for a v9 PS2? If not, can I burn Swap Magic Fix Image into a DVD+/-R, and will it work the same way instead of going through my Swap Magic 3.0 CD, So I would start with Swap Magic 2.0 DVD; throw in my SMFix DVD and then the game. Has anybody tried this method>?, if so let me know what the results where and how you accomplished to get the game to work!
Thank's for all you-all's help
~Jay

I'm still having this problem. :(
I'll put any game into the CD tray of the PS2 and close it and I guess the game will not stay on the motor so the motor will spin underneath the disc. I guess it's really loose? I have no clue why though. Is it the cap under the flip top thing? I've tried it horizontal and vertical. The disc just doesn't spin on the motor. The motor grinds under the disc. Any suggestions? Once again, I'm positive I followed all the directions in installing the flip top case, so I don't think I would be at fault for it, unless I'm just doing something wrong.
Thanks.

maybe you put the hub in upsidedown. If you can clearly see the metal in the middle (magnet) then you put it in wrong. If you can only see the magnet thru the white plastic the hub is made of then your all set.

Question to anyone out there, Ive noticed that some games will play fine on my system. When I take those same games to a friends house they sometimes skip of don't play at all. My friend and I both have the same system as a matter of fact his is newer. The only difference being where we got our covers from. Could it be that his top is on too tight? Another note, I burn at 4X and have been reading that it's a no no, would that matter and why would the games play fine in my system then. I tried to burn a Swap magic fix CD but it wouldn't load. I used Alcohol 120 and burned the .cue file that the tutorial tells you to burn but, then whats the perpose of the .bin file if your not to burn that ????? Any suggestions on going about burning swap magic fixes?

ok well the games skip on your friends cause his laser must be dirty. burning at 4x is fine it just icreases your chances of getting a bad burn. the bin file is the image the cue acts as a link that burns the bin file properly but you can still burn the bin and it will work

well his system is a lot newer then mine like it's not even 2 months old so his lens is clean. Cause it's happened in other systems too. I just find it odd that mine will play anything fine unless it's a bad burn and others won't. Like I said B4 the only difference being where the covers came from. If the issue at hand are the covers then I'll say right now to anyone reading don't buy from saveware or fliptops.com (seeing how they are the same ones) Cause I got my cover at modchipkits and my system plays everything fine.

if your game disks keep spinning of or dont spin at all due to the flip top being too tight just take the white circular magnetic thingy out of the flip lid and place it onto your cd and play games that way, only problem you have to leave your flip lid open.

Sorry for changing the topic but I have one question that I'd like you to answer.
Which do you think is the better, Slide Card w/ Swap Magic Disk or Flip Top Cover?
Can you tell me the reason you preffer it, too?

Hi. http://www.gocybershop.ca seems like a pretty cool place to pick up a fliptop. Why do you think people would not agree? I have to order one soon. I may order from that place. Anyone disagree? THANKS!
Thanks,
