agree. which makes me wonder why Nintendo is so innovative...
the whole interaction with video games thing is probably gonna be just a gimmick. I dont think the wii remote will last too long cuz eventually it will get old. That sort of stuff is best left for the arcades.
Its like the whole DDR pad and Guitar hero and guncon. All fun for a while then it collects dust in ur closet.
PS3...it only does everything(that Sony allows it to)

Yea but who goes to the arcade every single day all day?? No one. If they did im sure they will get tired of the same routine over and over. Point gun at screen and kill zombies. Fun the first couple of plays then thats about it. Or fun once a week or month depends.

@chris what i am saying is arcades have had motion sensors for like 20 years and magnavox the very first system ever made had a light gun

I love the gun's shape for shooting but with the new wii and ps3 controllers I don't see a use for the guns anymore.
(I know that's not what yall were talking about but I love to butt in :)

There won't be a gun.I agree though with your last post. Good looking up facts. I wish others would that sometimes lol it would save me alot of energy.
The ps1 and ps2 guns were not successful in fact there hasn't been a hugely successful gun in a long long time since nes.

the time crysis light gun was popular for the ps2 i had 1. but the light gun or any other specialty controller does not sell well anymore, i don't think ppl want to buy another controller for 1 game

Yeah it was popular ...eh sorta...Not many games were released for it but it worked great.Did'n t really do much though.

but i think that with the innovation of controllers the 3rd party developers will try to make their light guns more innovative. maybe being able to connect multiple weapons like u can have 2 pistols to use together, an m16 and a sniper riffle that would be pretty cool

How did that guy get all that info anyways?It hasn't been released and ati and nvidia keep there lips tight.I haven't even seen a single leak personally(but I haven't looked).Looks like mostly noobs that are impressed especially the first guy who responded lol.

why are you being a d*ck over it saying its not inovative over and over (pardon, its just
frustrating). they are incorperating it in a way unused for consoles majorly, and figuring out
how to make it be a majoy aspect of the system.

and you wouldnt have to :P but i understand, i go thru posing spurts too but i try to cut
down.
But they all do sort of the same thing, and that is rearrange what you thought was real, and they remind you of the beauty of very simple things. You forget, because youre so busy going from a to z, that theres 24 letters in between... You turn on... tune in... and you drop out...

I find it strange that you are asking me the question which will further cause me to respond on a topic we clearly disagree on which lead to you calling me a "d!ck".If its that unbearable for you as a grown person to disagree with someone or you find me frusterating then it only makes sense to cease the argument.But sense you asked i will respond.Nintendo is being innvoative and using the motion sensors in a MAJOR way Sony is NOT.They have a half a$$ version which is one tenth the quality and complexity of what nintendo is doing is what im saying.6 degree axis of motion sensing which isnt allowing a whole lot of freedom other than tilting to steer or titlting to lean out over a ledge and things of that nature and that in no way is influencing gaming in a major way.The wii you can actually immerse yourself in the game because it is somewhat of a requirement to be animated while playing their games since they incorporated the motion sensing to such a high level.Now i know Ninetendo rep have said you dont have to be standing or swinging the controller like a madman to play the wii but you do have to swing it,pull it,push it, ect to a much higher level than anything the ps3 will be offering.Thats simply conjecture for now seeing as how both consoles have yet to be released but its also going off what the mass gaming media has reported back to us.Now you have a little more of a leash for a lack of a better word because you insulted me and will surely not be warned for it i on the other hand have not the same flexiblitiy so im choosing not to get into the namecalling but chill out with the lashing out.You call me a "d!ck" and in the same post adress someone else whining like a child.Just let people be.I disagreed with you,you disagreed with me it was nothing more than that so no need to insult me.Ive seen you be adiment about things such as Sony not going to have shortages with the ps3 and yada yada and i wnet on to say why are you so ready to lap up whatever sony says. @glitchzoo cod3 will be released q4 2006.Sorry I went to bed so I wasn't around when you posted.
by the way it will be on all of the consoles.It looks awesome and I'm a huge cod fan.Play it on the console of your choice and enjoy :)
