Hey,

So I asked about Nero on the Nero forum and the guy said it was pretty awesome so I went to Best Buy. It's competitors were Roxio and 123 Copy DVD. Now it seems that Nero is way upcharging. I went with 123 Copy DVD and it offered me everything Nero does. It was half the price and money doesn't grow on trees. I was wondering if anyone has ever tried that product?

Aloha,
Tara

Nero does far more than 123 Copy DVD, but if you don't need those functions, then it has no value.

I've never had to pay for a copy of Nero, yet I have multiple legal copies since it comes with retail DVD burner packages.

Roxio is garbage in my humble opinion, and 123 Copy DVD isn't far behind.

As MysticE pointed out, it doesn't have all the features Nero can offer.

Frankly, all those little extras aren't that great if said program can't deliver quality burning.

If you're that worried about the price tag, use Imgburn.

Hey,

I was told not to get Roxio.... Haha... But the Copy DVD has been great for me and it does some stuff Nero can't so it's good for what I need it for :-) Thanks for the advice!!!

Tara
