good day to all! i have some question about nero burner. Why is it my nero burner won't burn my disks. it says transcoding failed all the time? can anyone help me pls.... any suggestion or ideas in resolving this problem just post it here in these threads.....

if you are trying to make a dvd, make sure that the video is in the proper format(ntsc or pal(depending on what your standard is for your area). Also make sure that you have enough room on your hard drive and that there is enough room on the disc you want to burn.
lcdtvs, post a log of your failed transcode - it will be located somewhere in your Nero program files folder.
keebles, dvd format shouldnt affect the actual transcoding/burning process, but may cause issues when it comes to standalone players so that advice is irrelevant for his purposes currently.
ollieiii, as much as that is relatively sound advice for general burning practise (although not as important nowadays, depending on the content you're burning), I don't think it will be contributing in this case.

If You are Trying to Back-Up An Existing DVD Try Using DVDFab Hd Decrypter to Rip It To Hard Drive And Imgburn To Burn it To Disc. If you are Trying to Create a DVD Try Using DVD Flick To Convert Files Then Imgburn To Burn To Disc.
If he's using an older burner without updated firmware then it wouldn't physically allow him to burn discs at a higher speed than is possible, and presumably he is using 16x media (ie. it is unlikely he's burning 8x media with old firmware for which that is the max write strategy, so causing a problem).
