nero 9 lite "The disk is not writable"

recently i have a multi session problem but its now ok and after that i can burn the pictures on the dvd disc..but when i tried to open the jpeg files my computer restarts
and when i try to open it again its now ok but when i try burn again another files to a blank dvd disc, its always say the "The disk is not writable"..but i can burn a CD disk...the only problem here is i cant burn a DVD disc..hopefully someone will help me with this TIA...
