Hey everyone

I have two connections,
One that im connected to at the moment (wired no router, connected by usb) (700kilobytes/sec) i
isp1

One that i can connect to wirelessly (1000megabits/sec)
Using a wireless g network card,
and on a Belkin 802.11g router
isp2

Both Different Isp's

My Bitorrent client is Bitornado

I have tried every possible thing on making my torrents go green when im connected onto my wireless network but no hope

I have been to www.portforward.com and still no hope

Software on my comp:

Norton internet security 2004 (firewall on)
windows service pack 2 (firewall off)

I have went into norton and enabled bittornado on all ports

Also I went into my wirelless network conenction properties and made a static ip:

ip address: 192.168.2.102
subnet mask: 255.255.255.0
Defualt Gateway: 192.168.2.1

Prefered Dns Servers: 192.168.2.1
Alternate dns severs: Blank

Then I went into
Windows firewall/Advance/Settings/Services/add

and typed in the following
decription: bittornado 1
ip: 192.168.2.102
External port: 16881
Internal port: 16881
tcp

then i clicked on add again and added
ip: 192.168.2.102
External port: 16881
Internal port: 16881
udp

I went into my router, by typing in 192.168.2.1 in the search browser
Clicked on virtual servers
and added

16881 to tcp and udp

then clicked ok

I went to bitornado
prefs
and port range set to
from 16881
to 16881
then clicked ok
this didnt work

BTW I used 16881 because TorrentSpy recomended the port, I tried the exact thing with the ports 6881-6889, and added the ports individually tcp and udp
but no luck

I have read forums over and over again but still no luck, hours spent on fixes the problem, with only a sad look

Anways Bittornado works perfectly with my wired usb router, the torrent colour stays green

I think it is my router that is causing the problem cause I tried connected the router to my wired connection isp 1 and my torrents would stay yellow

PLEASE HELP ME, I really need help cause isp1 is getting disconnected and isp2 which is wireless will take over for me

One more thing,
my download speeds go at 0-5kbs having a yellow circle for isp 2
20-30kbs upload speed
download speeds go at 100-200kbs having a green circle for isp 1
10-20kbs upload speed

both set on automatic with bitornado

PLEAS HELP ME!!!!

kinda weird but you may have forgot sumthing cause you done all the thing you should do
but if you are using torrent spy in the same time this might be your problem cause torrent spy will take that port and your client can't connect to a port already in use

you need to config all firewall to let bit torrent working so if the norton 1 still open just add the port you choose for Bit torrent in the trusted zone maube it's just that

so my opinion about this is that only a certain number of connection can pass trough cause of the firewall of norton or maybe its just beacose your connected with a usb cable try connecting it with a network wire this will help alot for sure

Nothing Special here
