Lethal--

I tried restarting my Computer and the same problem still occurs. (the command prompt opens and then immediately closes) Is there anything else that I could do to fix this?

Can you delete it if you don't want it anymore. So it would look like nothing happened, or will it have something perminant so apple will know you modded and void the warrenty? Also once I do the tutorial I should get a lot of games or do I have to download the games (can I download more games?) Also do you have a tutorial to uninstall it? Thanks, I just want to be sure I don't have a $400 door stop.

I'm pretty sure that if you restore the iPod with an un-modded updater, then it will put the iPod back into factory condition, but I would wait for Lethal to second that before you do something. ;-)

Jazo, are you trying to access the command prompt at work, or under a non-admin name on windows? The command prompt might be disabled, and could explain why it is suddenly closing.

Hey Lethal man, first off id just like to say i love what you're doing here, keep up the good work. I just have one little problem...im unsure as to how i find out what version firmware i have? It's related to the iPod Updater isnt it? if thats the case i have the latest one downloaded but i dont know whether its 1.1.1 or 1.1 or 1.0. Any help would be much appreciated.
Thank You

Hey lethal man i have a small problem, it relates back to your second tutorial...with changing fonts, i tried to select OTF and it said 'No OpenType Fonts found in this firmware', does that mean i need to use a different version or am i doin something else wrong?
Scratch that it worked straight after i posted, i dont know what was wrong but i just closed iPod wizard and opened it and there was no error.
Can anyone give me a link toa good super mario font?
thanks

The theme is not loaded onto the firmware in your second link. I'm assuming your just taking the two files I posted, and it isn't with the firmware because the file was to big to upload to your site.

So, that second link needs to be applied to a firmware for a Video iPod before it can be used, just to avoid confusion.

Lethal--

Everything has gone right when I follow the tut. But, when I get to step 11, instead of it rebooting the original firmware, it opens up and has a folder that says "apple.com/support". I didn't do anything wrong that I know of. Any suggestions?

Oh and on the pic in step 10, instead of mine saying:
Wrote 1193856 bytes plus 0 bytes padding, mine says:
Wrote 5896752 bytes plus 464 bytes padding, then I disconnected. Could this be the problem? How do I fix this?

Multi posting there Jazo ;)

Are you sure your folder for Rockbox is in the root folder of the iPod? If it isn't I could see it messing up the original iPod firmware. When you uninstall Rockbox does your firmware work again?

LOL, DarkJello, naw, multiposting is just posting the same question in multiple threads. ;-)

I haven't tried uninstalling Rockbox yet, but I will when I get home to see if it can still boot the original firmware. Thanks for the suggestion.

Whatever, something along the lines of multiposting.

But onward with my question! Could someone go through what I'm supposed to do to add a theme? I don't think I'm making it work properly.
