hello all,

i'm using bittornado ver T-0.3.15 to download a file. when i started to download the file bittornado showed a red, yellow and blue light respectively. now, after 20 mins there is still blue light instead of green light. keep in mind that i've checked following files to download:
*[isoHunt]PS2-USBextreme.+.PC.Tools.shared.by.tHeCuTtEr.for.[www.torrent.to]
.rar

* S2-USBeXtreme.+.PC.Tools.shared.by.tHeCuTtEr.for.[www.torrent.to]
.rar

* USBAdvance[1].Cracked-PS2Scene.rar

i'm using mcafee firewall. i've also checked bittorent after disabling my firewall but it didn't work. any idea?

Have you just installed a router, is this a recent development after using BitTornado for some time? I ask because after using BitTornado for 1 year with no problems, I began receiving a yellow light and a blue, even when seeding. Switching to utorrent gave a red light but good download speeds; both impossible scenarios. I suspect my router but never knew for sure and after 2-3 weeks, everything returned to normal. I think I have read that some firewalls conflict with torrents downloading and disabling isn't enough but I am unsure of this and would check it out.

i'm not sure about what you asked. tell me that how can i check you asked about. by the way i'm using dialup internet connection and mcafee firewall on windows xp. i've also tried utorrent, bitlord and bitcomet clients but non of all worked. the thing i noted is that all clients showed the size(839.11 KB) of usbextreme that is to be downloaded. some times i think the size of the file(usbextreme) is not as much for which i need torrent client. but acctually i didn't find usbextreme DVD in other format. in fact i really don't beleive that usbextreme DVD is of 839.11 kb but i still want to download it. could somebody solve my problem. thanks in advance for any usefull idea.

A router sits between your connection and your computer and has connections for multiple computers. A modem would sit between your connection and computer with one connection. I just wondered if BitTornado had worked in the past.

If you're behind a modem and BitTornado worked in the past, I don't know what to suggest. Reinstalling your OS would'nt change anything. That file sounds too large to start your download and too small to be a complete file, if you mean kB. Should be around 25 kB to start your download. Perhaps, it's corrupt. Try a different download and see what happens.
