At the risk of angering people who feel they have answered this before, I have scanned scores of listings and I don't feel I've found the answer to my problem... and now that DVD Decrypter is no longer available perhaps it's all become even more difficult. In any case: We're talking about Guitar Hero III for PS2. I have .rar files which I extracted to a 4.3gb ISO folder. Using Power ISO I burned it to DVD, but dropping it into the player I get the "Please insert a PS2 Disc". So, what gives? If all the files are there, why isn't it a PS2 disc? Is this where "swap disc" comes into play? In any event, I appreciate any guidance. Thanks!
My killer sig came courtesy of bb "El Jefe" mayo.

Imgburn is free to download, just google it. It is the successor of DVD Decrypter.
To play backups on your PS2 you need to have modified your ps2 either with software mod or hardware mod. So yes you need Swap Magic and tools, exploit or a modchip to play backups.
This guide can answer your questions.
thanks for the response... I guess it is as simple as I supposed; I was hoping that I wouldn't need to purchase anything else. It's just this one game I'm talking about, so it didn't quite seem worth it. But it is what it is, and that's that! Thanks again--RS
