What image can I use for Dreambox 500T for Chorus. I tried to flash my box using dreamup with both the Sportstar and Commando 9 files but got a File Too Big warning. Any suggestions.

Just a quickie.My friend who lives in North Dublin FTP'd the fix file and his Dbox has been working away fine the last few days without having to change the codes.I'm just wondering if he puts the same file on my D-Box will it work because I'm also in North Dublin but I'm with ch***s and he's N**.Many thanks....

just flashed commando onto my box !!
(i got sick of manually updating)
but now my box won't communicate with my p.c. !!!
tried filezilla and dnupman but all i get is connected waiting for reply...................
[color=red]warning warning warning
i now have no box !!!!
how do i get it communicating ?
user = root password = dreambox
tried password commando
tried dbox
even on dnupman when i connect it probes the box then asks me to turn the box on. i know you have to unplug and re-plug in the box and normally it connects and you can just erase flash or re-flash a new image but commando has done me in
any ideas ?

500t is for terrestrial tv only
you need a 500c

Hi PWEI, Could you let me know the details of that fix? What is it called and where did you get it? My dBox in dead in the water at the moment..

Thanks to Ruprect I got my box up and running. He sent my his andormeda image and I flashed it, didnt get channels at first, got RTE2 but not RTE1, rebooted and RTE2 was gone, no channels...
So I went into the UCODE menu and changed it to 001A and rebooted and hey presto, everything back again and survived the key change last night.

When you flash new image - dbox gets a new IP address. Get new adress from Network settings in Dbox..

When you flash new image - dbox gets a new IP address. Get new adress from Network settings in Dbox..
Or change your dbox IP back to what it was previously..

Hi not very clued in with this FTP'ing thing and puttin a fix in place..sick of puttin in codes but i have to thank all who kept the supply coming ....my question is ..is there anyone out there would be able to apply the fix to my box in D15 will also throw in the price of a few pints any help appreciated..

hi, flashed the new commando 9 image last night and tried rescan of channels but most I can manage to scan is about 56 channels....dont' get any of the irish channels or the usual terrestrials.....any ideas anyone????

Hi can someone confirm that the Commando9 fix is the correct one and it will auto update the keys etc.

Hi,
I have updated my dboxes with the updated nagrarom7.bin and it seem to work fine except that the keys are not updating automatically. When the keys roll, I come back to find the channels blank and I have to tune to sky sports and leave it for 30 seconds. Then it seems to update the keys and everything works.
I have tried modifying my camd_cfg AU setting. I have tried A: { 01 } and A: { 02 } but this made no difference.
Any advice. My image is Cryogenics - Sportster 1.7+ uk05.

If you dowloaded the Commando 9 image from page 45 of this thread, then when you flash the image all the channels will be there already ie-you dont need to do a service scan(SWEET OR WHAT !!)

If you dowloaded the Commando 9 image from page 145 of this thread, then when you flash the image all the channels will be there already ie-you dont need to do a service scan(SWEET OR WHAT !!)
