Thanks to benifa I have most of the channels available for NTL in Dublin.
However has anyone managed to get Setanta Golf??

I am desperate to get it. If you have it, could you send me on your bouquet.xml??

Thanks in advance,
A friend of mine rang nt! to get it and they said ok. They even gave him extra free channels. Took his money and told him to turn off his decoder and all would be fine.

He did. Never got Setanta golf, rang nt! and they told him it wasnt yet available but would be soon, so I guess when its there we will find it!

Hi benifa,

I eventually got the image file uploaded, and wrote the flash file. The dbox rebooted and now there seems to be nothing happening with it. The ip address has changed as a consequence. The lcd displays something when it boots the goes blank and thats it. No errors came up while flashing. Any Ideas what has happened? or how to fix it.

I have a sagem dbox with german image currently on it. I am trying to FTP a sportster 1x image to it but having problems. I can connect to the box, view the files directories etc, view the webpage and also copy files from the box to pc, however everytime i try and upload the new image file to box it fails. It looks like permissions or something. Can anyone shed some light on this as i am running out of ideas at this stage.
Does it fail on tranfering the image to the /tmp dir? Or does it transfer the .img successfully but fail on flashing? Either way, try IFA.

[/quote]I've had a similar error before, in that flashing a 2x image to my 2x box results in non-boot and a blank lcd. To rectify, I just re-flashed the image using IFA. Remember if you have a 1x Sagem you must flash a 1x image only, otherwise you will get Kein System..

Hi

I have just bought a dbox2 from Germany with the sportster image. I am getting no channels when I do a scan. I believe this is probably because I receive my ntl through mmds in the Galway area. Can anyone help?

Many thanks

Use the irish cables.xml, reboot your box after uploading the file to var/txbox/config and select NTL mmds.

Thanks for all the assistance received here, finally got the sportster image and services.xml file on to box. Now working perfect on Ntl in Dublin. What is the likelyhood of ntl changing the encryption system completely?

Hi Mullingar,

I have a sagem and used the sporster image on this link

http://netwave.redirectme.net/red-dwarf/

I then uploaded the services.xml file which was linked earlier. I did have a few problems at the beginning, but after several attempts it finally worked.

sg2788 : Now you're sorted and have all your channels, would you like to contribute to my collection of pre-configured Irish images? If you would, just make a backup of your working image, FTP to your PC and email to me. I'm planning on posting them on my site in time to come. PM me for address..

Im STILL not sorted Ben... Its really getting depressing. Wish I could just bring someone out to see what I am doing wrong. Hopefully its not the tuner. Do you reckon I might need a signal booster? Allthough I seem to be able to get digital through the pace NT£ box i have at home.... I just dont know why its not working

I am trying to put a services.xml file onto my nokia dbox (sportster image) using a crossover cable by FTP.

I have tried it by following the beginners guides using both internet explorer and cuteftp but it just appears to be timing out or failing to connect. The IP address on my dbox is 192.168.1.23

Any help would be appreciated
