I'm going to borrow one of their units and see if it gives the same trouble in my place. But tanx anyway......... it may still be a clone and they got lucky.
PS Anyway of knowing if it's a clone, is it stamped clone underneath :)
I get my boxes from a reputable seller and had the same problem with the signal in city centre(D7)
N.L fitted me with a new internal connection box and it worked a treat. The tech said they are upgrading the northside at the mo so the signal should get better in time when they eventually get round to your area.

Are you on True cable or MMDS. True cable is a direct feed into your house, MMDS is a cable feed from a dish on your roof.
It will not work on C***** MMDS.

On true cable. Not MMDS. When I do a power scan, i get a lot of green in the corner like it is getting signal, but then it doesnt download any transponders

OK try this as I see you have also input the ferquencies to no avail.
First you do a factory reset on the box. Then do a full power scan (In Full Mode not Normal). Then you have to highlight Language Settings & press OK. Enter 1968 twice & use the right arrow to select Nagravision. You need to scroll down to No Name down the bottom and change the data.
Ch****
KEY 00 = 4B 7C D5 86 E7 01 CC 96
KEY 01 = 8E 8E 46 FD 36 28 A3 F0
I have seen this work in some areas.

hi clocker
sounds like you are missing two of the lower freg 291,299 these settingg are only for nthell, you need to just add the 291/299 and do a manual scan ,below should help
user installation menu go to ch edit, select add and enter freq details all have the same symbol rate 6.887Mbaud
The 13 freq's are 291,299,307,315,323,340,348,356,364,372,380,388,395
Save them all and hopefully you should be good to go.

Hi I've got a euro-vox max 2007 and in Donegal with a cho*** line. I have tried 290 400mhz with both symbol rates 6887 6952 and 6875 but I am not getting any channel numbers. When doing a scan the quality and signal is sometimes 98%. Can anyone let me know if the euro-vox max 2007 work in Donegal and if so how can I get it working. i have downloaded and installed the updated firmware. I don't know whether I have digital or not, except it is a direct feed. I have the advice above re chrism23 and I'll give that a go.
Thanks

Hi Guys Kotil here
I have had eurovox 2007 for months now, going great until the other day, when i added a new channel and deleted it in the Channel add/modify section in insulations.
I am using the NTL dublin codes 291 to 395 (13 in total) and symbol rate 6887.. have been using that for a while, all was well until now when i do a power scan normal, i am picking up the 13 TP's but then the next step say 1/104 ...2/104 and so on does not pick up any channels or music stations. Can anyone advice me what to do next. My cables are fine too. Its a noggin scratcher, im doing everything i have done before but stil lno joy.
Cheers for any advice guys. ;0)

What value are you getting for the quality of your signal from the TPs? (you can find it in user installation.) Is it above 80%, stable?

You need to change the no name line item in the Nagra screen. And I did say just to give it a try. Also input the provider ID 5E 01, along with the codes and symbol rate.

I just received my eurovox max-v and I have a couple of questions, my box is already flashed to the latest firmware.
is it a simple a process as plugging it in and then doing a scan to find channels on cho**s?
Do I have to change any frequency settings before I do a scan?

Trouble was when I entered 1968 twice there was no Nagra screen or Nagrvision. There were other options but not this.
Also when I tried the factory reset there were only two options one for 6952 and one for 6887 (no 6857). Which one should I choose?

Hi auvers
You will need to enter the symbol rate 6875 for ch****
below are a list of 13 Freq's that it should find ,
It may skip one or two of the freq's below ,if you does it is a simple step of entering it and doing a manual scan ,
274.000 371.000
282.000 378.000
290.000 386.000
298.000 394.000
306.000 410.000
314.000 426.000
322.000
to add these freq's you need to
go to installation
green button for ch edit
red button add channel
enter freq and symbol rate 6875
press ok, then repeat these steps till all freqs added. when they're all in press exit and go back to first page of install menu. press the red button for auto scan. will do a scan an all the freqs entered and should hopefully give you 138 channels.
best of luck
