DELETE the channels which aint working on the box do the same Power Scan again and the channels will be there working again, you'll just need to add them to your Fav's again

Your solution is here http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/558409
N** have changed two tps 387.000 is gone to be replaced by 402.000 and 395.000 is now 394.000. Follow the instructions in the thread above.

thanks for the prompt help on this. got it sorted there with the frequency changes. Presumably NTL keep at this fairly regularly.
as an aside i've a eurovox max v 2008. Is this as good as is out there or are dreambox 500c better value or are they all much the same

No problem. With regards to the other question the dreambox wins hands down, but they are not as easy to set up as the Eurovox, so if you just want to plug in, scan and watch TV then the Eurovox is the one for you.

If channels are not listed as RTE , BBC etc then it could be the splitter and the signal is not strong enough

Sorry for jumping in Celtic but it sounds like the emu is off. To turn it on press menu, language settings, type 1968 on remote and enable emulator. Press blue button to save and exit. Exit again to view.

Hi can anyone please help? I?m on Ch&&us in Dublin and have tried to tune the Eurovox Max 3 2008 in using Power Scan and 6875 as the symbol rate. All I get are 4 local channels.
I then tried to update manually, by doing the following -
Press 'MENU', goto 'LANGUAGE SETTINGS', press '1968' and changed these two extra options: emulation to 'enabled' and emm capture to 'enabled'
I then typed 1968 again and you will see the key table where I then moved to the Nagravision table. There I put in the following Ch&&us codes
KEY 0 = 4B 7C D5 86 E7 01 CC 96
KEY 1 = 8E 8E 46 FD 36 28 A3 F0
along with the provider ID code 5E01.
Still, nothing is happening and I only have those 4 channels. What am I not doing?? Can anyone help? All comments welcome, thanks!

Are you on true cable with C*****?
Try inputting these frequencies manually and then do an autoscan. Your codes and symbol rate are correct.
ch**** frequencies set symbol rate 6875
274000 282000 290000 298000 306000 314000 322000 371000 386000 378000 394000 410000 426000

Hi - need help please - setting up eurovox max 2008 (latest sept firmware pre-installed) and am missing a few channels on CH*ass.
Powerscan picks up 11 freqs (274 282 290 298 306 314 322 378 394 410 426).
Successfully added in freq 371 which increases number channels to 130
Added in freq 386 but signal weak and unable to pick up remaining 8 or so channels (Celts Rangs Set Sp*rts God etc)
Anyone know what freq I should use for those channels in Malahide area ?
Thanks in advance

Sorry this frequency is for N** but give it a bash as they moved tps around about two weeks ago. All those channels are on 402.000 and they were moved from 387.000. But as I am not on Ch**** I cannot gaurantee that you can even receive them.

My cousin has a Eurovox Max 2008, but has not put the critical update on it! How long does a box last till it will die, as a result of not having the latest software?

Just had the frequencies verified:
274000 282000 290000 298000 306000 314000 322000 371000 386000 378000 394000 410000 426000
It looks like you have a problem with a weak signal alright.
