Hi.Sorry I am a bit of a thicko but I have downloaded the sportster image from a previous link and wondering how to burn it to a disc so I can keep it.Do I just use the img file and burn it,or do I have to convert it somehow.Thanks

all the audio has gone off the dbox2..
channels still perfect but no audio...
i have tried the obvious !!
Any1 had this happen before ?
help please

pc62 ..just safe the image file to disk with the rest of ur stuff for dbox

Am having trouble, please please help.
So got it all set up , Dbox2 - cable - neutrino , and wanted to play around with it.. FTP ok http ok all the channels etc. i log onto it with http so i can change channels and see program guide etc I put on a password so only i can access it, user : Marc pass : 1234 . So i refresh page and it asks me for the user n pass but i typed it in Lots a times. and lotsa variations of it.. and i mean alot 1324, 1223, 1233 etc also capitals.
what can i do to get back in? i also tried root & dbox2 only works for FTP.

Use Image Flashing Assistant and a Null modem cable then Flash the image back to the box and start again.

i heard a bad thing this weekend...
ntl:virgin will parental pin code EVERY movie channel ! (not just 9 and 10)
u all know what this means ....(press red and input code)
obviously not an option on our dbox2 !
will there be a workaround ? any insight to the truth on this ?

Hya, just read your message and wondered, did you ever sort your problem out?
I have exactly the same problem, and have in fact now flashed three different images, with no success, and only getting basic channels, BBC1, etc. and as of now just packed it in unless I can find a solution. Thanks in advance Prendy

Go to NETWORK settings and input one there, save, restart network. Sorted.

id recommened commando 6 never had any problems with it, the latest sportster is Sportster Pro 1.08, have a look for links on the forums theres plenty there for u

I use Commando 6 and have no trouble at all and prefer it over Sportster. Have you tried stetting your location in Commando? or putting a services & bouquets file in?

i have transfered new boutiques and services(from my sportster image) over to it...but no luck.
