Please Help! I rebuilt God Of War the some way I rebuilt 50 Cent. But when I get the Pandora's Bridge it freeze's up at the save spot.I have it saved there but can't get it to play past that spot.I tried burning other copies but no luck.Is there another way I can burn the game? When I copy the game to my HD.I get a MDS Image of 8.25 KB also 100 File of 3.99 GB & 101 File of 3.93 GB. No ISO file. So I rebuilt the MDS image and made it a ISO 3.96 GB with Apache2.It picks up and plays fine till I get to the Pandora's Bridge then it freeze's up.HELP!!!!!

Attention "Bignut":
I've successfully backed up Battlefront 2, as well as, patched it for online play. I used the Disc_ID_Utility to discover the game's actual ID number (using PS2 and TV). My patch worked.
If you are using online codes that are provided, be careful. I've seen many that didn't match up with what I've found on my originals. I always recommend using your originals to find the code and not the online listed ones.
Oh yeah, I created the image of the game, no rebuild needed, and used Windip to (scan, verify, then patch) the game. I used Verbatim 16X dvds, and burned at 4X using DVD Decrypter.
On a different note, my backup of Project Snowblind will not go online. Windip states there is an "offset" in the DNAS file found. I even went the long way - rebuilt game (inserting a DNAS_ID patched DNAS file). Typically, I would just create the image, then use Winimage to inject the patched DNAS/IOP files. But, Winimage stated "image full" on this game, thus, the long way. However, my backup still refuses to pass the DNAS checker, but, my original (with same code) works fine.

Most of the DNA's posted online work fine. Of course they'll be wrong once in awhile, but from what I've seen they're usually right. If a popular game is wrong, somebody will notice it and correct it. The first 4 characters will always be different. It's hexadecimal, so it's A-F or 0-9.
@Bignut Go over the steps again, it sound's like you're missing something. Find a torrent for a different version of the game. You are patching the game with the DNA ID's from the correct region, correct? You patch PAL games with PAL DNA ID's and NTSC games with NTSC DNA ID's.
@ Wolf69 I think this is a common problem when playing a DVD-5 version of God of War. I purposely backed up an original DVD-9 copy for that reason. Try rebuilding your downsized iso with Gnie's Expert.
11. Q. How Do I rebuild games?
A. With Nero and Isobuster (works as long as no single file is over 2 GB's): http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/197949 With CD/DVDGen: http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/210515 With Expert (Gnie's new rebuilding tool):
Gnie's PS2 Auto Rebuilder Tool Download (Thanks to 3DLuis):
http://www.alucard.cc/ps2/ExPERT_v1.03.rar
Instructions to Gnie's Tool ExPERT From Paddymail:
Here's how to use it.. it might not work for all games though.
Open the program.
1. Select the Shrinker_ps2_psp_CdDvd5_iso.epi on the plugins drop down list.
2. Select the iso you want to rebuild.
3. Click extract LBA.
4. Click extract file and wait for it to finish.
5. Click rebuild file and wait for it to finish.
6. Click rebuild LBA.
7. Burn the new iso with Nero or DVD Decrypter as usual.

@Joel23 I think you got the CD-ROM version of POP:Two Thrones. I encountered a similar problem in another thread. Apparenly somebody downsized the game to a fit on a 90 min/800MB CD-R. There's a torrent rip like that floating around out there, and I'm pretty sure that's what you got. POP: Two Thrones is over 4GB's, there's no way a whole DVD-ROM version of the game would be compressed to 500MB's, even WinRAR isn't that powerful. Look around for a different torrent, typically PS2 DVD isos will be 2-4GB's after compression.
9. Q. Where can I find PS2 games to download?

Those sound okay. It's rare you run into a PS2 DVD-ROM game downsized to CD, POP is the only time I've ever come across this. It sounds like you're doing okay. Check the link I posted about where to find torrents. If you're still having issues with BitTorrent, check here.
98. Q. How do I use Bittorrent? I don't understand any of this stuff about clients, seeds, and torrents, can you help me?
A. Yes- http://wiki.theppn.org/index.php/BitTorrent_Tutorial http://btfaq.com/serve/cache/1.html

25 to life isnt supposed to be that good, according to the review on IGN. Well, your choice.
http://ps2.ign.com/objects/683/683106.html
I personally havnt had any need to play games online for a while, and the one i did play online is an original. I have heard from a friend though about patching games, he said it was quite simple.
Why do i see Tokijins name in every thread i go? lol guess thats how u become an "Afterdawn Addict."
Isnt there an option of DVD Decrypter to rip as an .iso file? I use UltraISO most of the time, so i wouldnt know. I'll check it out later on. For People who havnt got it i recommend downloading it, very useful, especially for Dual-Layered Games.

I'm pretty much to the point where if people ask "How do I burn PS2 games", "Does the kind of of Media I use matter", or "Do I need some type of mod to play my PS2 backups", one more time, my head will spin around 360 degrees and I will spew green acid like substance on my monitor.
Do I need some type of Mod to play my PS2 backups? Arrrrrrr.

Well then backup a different copy of SWBF2 Bignut, DNA ID's patching isn't that involved, maybe you got a problem iso or something.
I don't where a good store is to download import games, I usually only back up games made in the U.S. I get most of my PAL backups off BitTorrent.

Yes! When I use DVD Decryter Too put the image on my HD I get MDS Image and 100 File ,101 File. The MDS Image is just like a ISO.But I can't Extract both images with Apache 2 just one.I need to extract both images out of the MDS Image. Then rebuild them both then patch them back. When I rebuild the one Image I can only get the Pandora's Bridge. Then it won't play past it.I think it's because I don't have the second layer. That Sucks.......Help Bra.......

You probably downloaded a DVD-5 (single layer) version of the game. Almost all the torrents for GOW are for versions of the game that have been already rebuilt. You can't extract the second layer, because it's not there. Your version has already had the second layer taken out. So find a torrent for another version or try one of the other methods of rebuilding. Make sure your plug-ins for Gnies Expert are in the same directory as the program.
