Calm down...

What i'm wondering is if anyone has tried to read an XBOX 360 game with an old XBOX and FTP the files. I'm going to dev today at a friends house to see if we can atleast rip a game.

good luck. hope you succeed, but seeing how there is no version of Quix or Craxtion for xex(the xbox 360 extension of files) it may be impossible...I can't wait until I get my premium package and at least try FTP :]

Yes people have tried it and it gives you a message telling you that you placed a xbox360 game in an xbox and that you need to quit being such a retard.

he may be blunt, but he does know what he is talking about. especially if the 360 is anything like the original xbox.

Question. Xbox 360 Games are in HD-DVD right? Can a normal DVD burner read it? Is there a HD-DVD reader out yet or will be soon? Just noob questions... But I'm curious.

No, regular DVD9 (dual layer dvd).

If it were a hd-dvd then no. But normal DVD9? Then yes.

And about the original topic:

There have been news that someone has already ripped x360 games. But it's pointless, since there won't be a modchip for x360 for a while.

the ripped games are fake. they were released a couple of days before 360/its game were released.

so far the 360 is a closed system. why doesnt someone take the hard drive out of their 360 and plug it into their pc or laptop. then we could find what file system it uses.

Sorry! just getting sick and tired of people repeating the same Fu#$%ing questions over & over. Making 1 sentence questions & titles that hardly make sense with multiple spelling errors.

i think he means through sata. can you post this info? ive not seen this yet.

we know usb hard drives work, look at the ipod. when that connects it basically becomes a hard drive if you have it set as a hard drive.

The people that are bashing this dude are simply morons. Regardless if it's going to work or not, it doesn't matter thats not the point. You can learn things by playing with your system thats how you "learn".
