Sup everyone. I've already rebuilt "50 cent Bulletproof" using this guide when it was first posted, and it worked fine. Now I have to burn another copy for a friend, and I was hoping there might be an easier way. Has anyone had success rebuilding with Gnie ExPERT_v1.03 ? If there isn't an easy/reliable way I'll just rebuild using this tut. Thanks. My apologies if this has already been asked/answered, but this thread is 28 pages long, and thats just a wee bit too long to read through. Thanks again.

Hi PuFFy
I used Gnie ExPERT_v1.03 to re-build 50 cent and it works like a charm
It WILL NOT work on GT4. Need to doo the long muti-software back up thing and hope fpr the best.

Hi, I'm pretty new to all this stuff, just got my SwapMagic 3.6 discs last week!
Just a quick question (sorry if it's been answered before). I followed the guide to use Gnie's ExPERT (on page 18). I'm currently backing up The Godfather.
What I was wondering, I read somewhere in this thread (think it was page 6) that after choosing 'Extract LBA', you had to click 'Rebuild LBA' or something. However there's no mention of that in the guide.
Do I have to 'Rebuild LBA' or can I just go straight to Extracting the files?
Thanks for any help
EDIT: When Gnie's ExPERT finished rebuilding the Godfather (which was about 3.6GB before rebuilding) it producted a file which was only 242 MB. Surely this isn't right? Have I done something wrong?

not my guide...I just copied and pasted:
I used gnie's iso rebuilder tool.
1. select Shrinker_ps2_psp_CdDvd5_iso.epi on the plugins list.
2. Select the iso.
3. Click extract LBA
4. Click extract file
5. Click rebuild file
6. Click rebuild lba.
Make sure you do it in that order.

dood, puFFy!!
i'd love to try that method. i found gnie's iso rebuilder tool a few places online available for download, but none of them have the
Shrinker_ps2_psp_CdDvd5_iso.epi
plug-in included. and i can't find that plug in available for download anyplace.
do you know where to find it?

Thanks for the support!

mrsds pm me with your email and i will send it to you.
swap magic and flip top is awesome. it might not be as good as a mod chip in some ways, but it has 100% game compatability and it's so easy to install a monkey could do it.

pm = private message. at the top of the afterdawn webpage, under the forum tab, select compose a private message (it should be located right under the forums tab more or less).

Hi,
When using PSS downsmapling tool v1.01, I get an error half way through downsizing the "ending.pss" ,that tells me it's an illegal operation. Anyone else have this problem, and know how to fix it. Thanks.

A kid. I don't think your supposed to give your email address out in a comment box. You could get kicked for that I think. But you should send him a message with your email in it ok. Just try to help you buddy.

Rebuilt GT4 in accordance to the instructions. Done it actually a few times and I get the same issue. I use swap magic and the game (GT4) starts to load up OK. I get the GT4 disclaimer, then the Sony screen and then the little disk at the top right of the screen (including sound) flashing as if the GT4 game is loading and then nothing....... It seems to get stuck..
Any tips???????????
