Yes they should be ok.
Gomer88: so sorry to have ignored you so long, Hopefully you read this. Sakura is not often updated because there is only one version and it had to be translated into english by a group of proggrammers who were not proffesional or affiliated with M3 in any way.
It's faster, Easier to use and easier to customize.

Hi all,
Firstly I want to apologise in advance if this has been asked before but I have just ordered a M3real and would just like to know if I'll be able to use the trimmed games I have already for the R4? Or if I have to re-download them?

Moonshell 171 comes with something called 'DPGtools' this converts normal movies into .dpg (DS plays .dpg movies).
DOWNLOAD M3SAKURA, YOU WON'T REGRET IT.

M3Sakura can be downloaded from www.gbatemp.net, they have a download section which should be easy to navigate.
The file you are looking for is called dpgenc.exe, if it fails to work there are some other applications that work.

ok i got into it and selected the video file but im not sure how to convert it still? srry im such a noob. would it possibly be something to do with the fact that the file im trying to convert is a limewire file? can the softwre only convert certain files to dpg?
thanks again youve been a really big help.

I don't know what you mean by a 'limewire file' I don't use limewire so I don't know if you mean downloaded from limewire or if it's a file that downloads from limewire (like a torrent?).
If the file does not work in dpgenc.exe, Download SUPER instead it converts anything to anything, anything to dpg more imprtantly.
It also rips audio from movies :D

If this is the M3Real firmware then you need to make a folder called 'skin1', 'skin2', 'skin3' or 'skin4'. Put all the Icons into this folder and move the folder into '*:/System'(* is your drive letter for the SD)
If this is M3Sakura firmware then, you have the wrong file.

I've downloaded a couple of roms from various sites. They work and everything, but when I want to save the game. It takes forever (over 2 hours+) to save. Well, it doesn't actually get to be saved because at that point, I just assume its frozen and manually shut down my DS.
I'm just wondering if anybody else has that problem and if so, would it be possible to fix such a problem.

That's not normal, redownload the system files, don't mention downloading roms- it's illegal... you may only 'backup games you own'. Check wether you rom is patched for another flashcard?

Hi, I 'm wondering if there's a way to 'rip' game save data from an original nintendo ds card and use that save data on the m3. i also have another problem, i have a 4gb Kingston micro sdhc card. I had my m3 for half a year now. Now my computer doesn't seem to be reading my card! My computer read it for like 4 months and two months later it didn't. I tried borrowing a friend's R4 micro sd reader and it worked fine on my computer. i came to a conclusion that the original micro sd reader, which i got with my m3 real can't read my card anymore.

I agree with unaquain, it's definitely not normal, maybe ur roms are not clean??? Coz the m3 real generally only plays 'clean' roms. Try downloading the roms here:they work for me. And make sure u have the latest m3 real firmware or download m3 Sakura. When u first load a ds game on m3 it should create a save file.
Then u can save normally throughout the game, like in a real ds cartridge.

I don't know if reffering to rom sites is allowed, nds-roms went downhill, Romulation is better. The problem probably is the reader, they die fast, £1 at poundland get a new one and format the card to FAT32 after backing up the data of course.

Yes there is.
either buy an XPloder or Action Replay Pwersave tool OR download Rudolph's NDSWiFiTool.

I hope it works, In order to use Rudolphs NDS tool you need to download an ftp, (google smallftp).
Hope it works.
Datels product is the action replay max and is a slot-2 device which comes with GBA cheat codes too.
XPloders product is called 'cheat saves'
Any one of these products is fine but I suggest using Rudolphs solution as it's free and the other products will set you back about a tenner.
Rudolphs NDS wifi backup tool requires a working internet connection and can be downloaded from GBAtemp.net
