Dear Mr. Hanky
How is about MoonShell for M3DS-Real right now? We need that for something better on NDS?
And can you explain more for me about using of Rumble Pack.
Thank in advance.
And I have a good NDS -Video converter. How can I share with everybody in this forum?

Well Moonshell is supported on the Real I beleive, And on Sakura but Sakura has it's own .dpg player which is good apart from the only flaw being a video ends three seconds early.
To share a video converter with us it's a good idea to host on RapidShare or possibly the less common Windows live SkyDrive(part of everybodies hotmail account Link). It might be easier to give out the link where you got it though if you remember.
Some of the common converters people know about are BatchDPG, SUPER and the DPGtools that come with moonshell.
I personally use Super because Batch won't install and DPGtools has too many errors.
I was glad to help, Incase Mr.Hanky took a while.

Rumble Pack
Only works on certain games, I have Meteroid Pinball - Excellent vibrates when the lower bumpers are hit, and air traffic chaos, vibrates when planes are landing and taking off. Not a bad device but it is noisy (if you are playing the games with the sound down) and some games need it turned on in an option menu and others automatically just use it if it is fitted.

Hi, I'm trying to get my GBA emulator on my M3 DS Real to work in preparation for the Mother 3 English patch release.
I have the M3 DS Real, and the Rumble RAM pack... does it not support GBA emulation? Will I need some extra firmware? Or do I need a different Slot 2 pack?
Thanks for your help.

M3Sakura is easier to use,
Rumble ram is compatable, you need to prep it first though, Download rudolphs GBAexploader and run a .gba with it.

I have been happily playing games on my m3 Real card but would like to put some movies on there as we are going away next week. I have downloaded the Sakura (english version), but don't know how to put movies onto my DS lite. I am very computer illiterate, so be gentle with me please.

So I have purchased a M3Real with rumble pack thinking it was a ram extension but whatever, the software for media extend sucks. It reminds me of the one on the M3 player I had before the M3simply. I am currently using it for mainly media stuff and I can't figure out how to make the music player see more all my mp3s in my music folder. I remember on my first M3 player that I could go into a notebook file to change the amount of files that it would read at a time but can't find out how to do it on this one. Also I can't figure out how to get rid of that annoying pink screen when I watch a movie. I also tried installing moonshell so that I could use what imo is more user friendly but can't figure out how to use it when I enter MYCARD. Could some one help me please?

@cockermad: Download a file called moonshell (google)I think the latest version is 1.71. With moonshell there is an .nds file, put that on the MicroSD and there is a converter for films, Convert films to a .dpg file and put that on the microsd... The moonshell171.nds is run like a game and will play the movie you just converted.
@corumisri: First of all M3Real is old software and the new software ditched the bad mediaextend, It was replaced with a software that is better all aroud.
If you insist on using moonshell then put moonshell into the nds folder and play it like a game.

If there is a better software I'd rather just use that. Is it that sakura program? Thanks for the info by the way.

Well, When you update M3Real you move a 'system' folder over, Well if you download a certain 'system' folder aka sakura the entire card is improved vastly. There is no nds, gba folder or media extend but a much easier to use system, built in movie player for dpg files (you still need to download the movie converter). Search google for M3Sakura english translation.

I've been using the firmware version 4.0 for about a week now and I've been really happy about the new Real Time Save feature. I tested it playing Little League World Series and I was able to pitch a complete game striking out all 18 batters that I faced. I simply saved the game after each batter and if I didn't get a strikeout, then I'd reload the game to face the batter again. Obviously, this doesn't make the game as enjoyable, but it was a good testing experience to check the reliability of the RTS feature. I've tested it in a few other games as well. Has anyone else tested the RTS feature in version 4.0? If so, have you ran across any problems with it?

Thanks for the info. I went and downloaded and installed sakura v112 and it has a much nicer user interface but it doesn't work right. It tries to load moonshell but keeps getting stuck in the load screen and when I tried to use the picture viewer it somehow ended up wiping the card clean of everything which I didn't know could happen. Anyone know whats going on?

Can't say I've ever heard of that happening.
Load the latest backup of your card.
Moonshell doesn't work because it is the japanese moonshell,
Format the card to Fat32,
view pictures and movies etc. Using the Sakura browser, Dont bother with Moonshell.

I reread the posts and saw you mentioning the sakura browser and did a search on how to use it but can't figure it out. Is the browser the thing that immediately comes up when I turn on the m3 or what? Sorry I am so helpless. I would say I know what Im doing half way but it's more like 1/8 way. I googled the browser and couldn't find an instruction manual. Also I keep hearing about using it for getting online... is that true and if so what do I need to do? Thanks for all the help by the way.

Yes it's what runs when you turn on the DS, Instead of seeing NDS,GBA,Mycard etc. You will be met with a totally different look.
Go to gbatemp.com and download a M3Sakura translation, Then just copy the System folder onto the card and it should be easy from there.

Noob here--
Just got a M3 real and have everything running using the standard loader.
If I'm just using this for .nds files and nothing else, is there any compelling reason I should switch to Sakura?
Also, does anyone feel like explaining how the cheat options work? For example, there's a cheat switch drop-down selector for each game, then for some games there's another tab with different individual cheats you can turn on. Do these work together? How?
I'm basically a total DS noob so I didn't even know cheats were even possible.
Thanks!
