Not exactly that :)
Other than the attenuator method I have also found that this works also.
Just upload a pre flash channel dump file from your box save it to your pc. Clear channel data on the EV, then flash with the Kuro image. After you have flashed it then download your previously saved CDF to the EV.
That way you can have a correct list of channels and ts list and also have the adavantages of the new improvements in the Kuro image. If you have already flashed with the Kuro image you will need to get a pre October flash CDF for your area/provider.

No same jtag kit just different methods for different chipsets.
Intel Chipset use the Jkeys method.
ST Chipset use the SkyMax method.

Thanks a lot Scouser, ive got 4 dead ones so ill order that for next week and give it a go. Think Mr Benitez could do with a bit of jtagging at the moment, enough said on that.Thanks again Scouser.

Yes there is but only put this on if you have a genuine box. Click the SV EV Info link at the end of my post to find out if you have a genuine or clone. I can then give you the firmware based upon your decision.

It should be on 306.000, (true cable not MMDS), called the PPV Channel it is showing a film on continuous loop at the moment and will show events when they are broadcast.

no tried that and it doesnt work.
freq 306, symbol 6.875 modulator qam64 showing about 10%

about 120 or 130.
I was just wondering cause my friend in dub on ntl has the same channels but has ppv. whereas i dont. i wonder do ch***s maybe not show it?

Ch**** true cable do but some areas of Limerick have less channels. Go to menu, installation and user installation post the list of frequencies you have please.

BBC 3 & 4 start broadcast after 7 Pm so will start working then. Strange indeed but good work either way :) My advise is to keep messing around as your frequencies seem different to the Dublin, Cork and Galway ones. Can you do me a favour if you do find it either post your frequencies or a channel dump as it will help others from your area.
Thats me have a good weekend its drinking time :)
