Thinking of buying the JTAG from tailor made circuits.How do I know which chipset box I have as I have a few "dead" boxes.

I rang supplier and he told me mine was ST, but he did say you have to open it up and look for a small black piece on the board which will say either ST or INTEL. Hope this helps.

As said open up the box and beside the larger main processor chip you will see a smaller 48 pin Tsop it will have either ST ot Intel printed on it.

Morning all, did anyones box update the time last night? Mine didnt and if I change it manually, it just changes back!!!!
Any1 have any ideas?

Yea! mine didn't change the time either, went into Config - Time settings, turned GMT OFF and manually entered time, now correct!!!! - but I am still using the Sept. update, don't know if this has anything to do with it.

Do you still have epg data after doing that though?

Yea!!!!!!! been checking it all out and can't find the solution - all progs. showing hour behind mmmmm pussled as yet. As anyone else figured out what it is???? had GMT+++ GMT--- can get the epg right but clock wrong and vice versa!

It's definitely worked for me - Config - Clear Data - Erase all channels - Exit Exit - Menu -User Installation - Yellow (powerscan)- Change mode to FULL - OK. This has worked on T***w**t V***** M***a northwest uk (All epg and time settings are currently in perfect working order - now - next - full epg - info bar)ITV1 The Royal 20.00-21.00 Half Broken Wings 21.00-23.00.

Yes, it must work diff in the UK, tried that on N** in dublin, and still no joy at all, its a real pain in the ass. If anyone has anything on Dub N** please share, its driving me nuts!!

Best bet mate is, to wait until the morning and hopefully it should update itself when you switch it on. I think thats what i did last year and it was all good. So im off to bed. Fingers crossed that when i wake up, its all corrected! I'll let you know.

yep it usually takes a day or so for the CC's EPG so your box is fine its just the provider needs to catch up.
