when box pops up 'open ' it
then goto downloader 10 exe. and 'run ' that
Then goto:

Only yesterday I reflashed v2500 on to another fella's box who was using that version because it didnt roll for him.....
Just wondering now,are you sure u have the right cable (null modem RS232) ?

Well nothing is gonna happen until the codes change again. This is the only way u can see if the auto update will work !
If the box is plugged into the tv at the time u will see it updating.
( it says updating channels ) will only take a min or 2 .

is it possible to transfer channel data from Starview to digivox or it has to be laptop/pc to box. the ch. data on the Starview is better than the scaned data on the digivox, strange because all came from same source.

I haven't looked into that yet but your right it is all the same source so it can't be rocket science - I'll look into it and get back to u! I would assume its pc/laptop transferable but will let you know when I find out more.

cactikid not sure if this is the same thing your looking for. It sounds like it si to me though. Give this a shot - If you want to copy the files to another box just connect the boxes with the Null Modem Cable.
If you want to copy the files to another box just connect the boxes with the Null Modem Cable.
On the good box select
Menu
User Set up
SW Transfer
First select Code Hit OK
When completed select
Channel Data Hit OK
New box flashed and channel data including any favorites setting as well, make sure the recieving box (slave) is pointed away from the remote though and in standby.
good luck!!

Different version of linux progamming epproms guys so I cant see a Starview to Digivox transfer work as the Rom images are set up slighty different to eachother, e.g, hex decimal codes are different on each even though from the same source.

MAINAMN - talking to a mate of mine recently and he tells me he will have software later this week that works on ch*rus. Its not mmds though. He said it works on Starview boxes on the normal ch*rus true cable I think you called it. Anyway shout back if you want this software - assuming you haven't got it already but I'm told its only new.
