Hello all,
I am thinking of gettin a Eurovox box and am living in an N*L area.
But the guy i'm buying it from wont put the software on.
Can anyone tell me where i might find instructions on how its done.
I'd be eternally greatful :)

I havent seen firmware as of yet. Do you have this box in your possesion as I did not realise they had been released to the public yet.

Hi,just received firmware for eurovox TX + uploader.
Firmware is a bin file called EVX TX_H_071123.Uploader is
called TX_STB_Loader.I can upload these if someone tells me
where and how.

Exactly where have you put the firmware and software, can't find it and there does not appear to be any uploads dated today?
Presume eamo will eventually put it into a seperate folder when he gets to it.

Thanks Phil, we are going to give the library a clear out soon as there are a lot of duplicates, I will put these in the Eurovox folder.
How is the TX working for you and where are you located?

Hi,I am living in Tralee,Kerry.I got this for my daughter today.I will have a go at installing it tomorrow.Any relevant info about
channels or if I can create a cdf file I will upload then.

Is there A channel data file for C****S for max v boxes also is it a different loader or can I use the one for N*L Dublin

You use the same loader and change the symbol rate 6875 with a frequency range of 274.000 to 444.000 should get all your channels.

Hi,installed TX this evening.Full scan found 83 tv channels.
These included all the Sky sports,Setanta sports,all Sky movies,
8 kids,Music channels,discovery channels,plus terrestial channels
rte,bbc,utv,channel 4 etc.This figure seems to be 56 channels
less than Dublin.Even so all the main channels seem to be there.
Found it easy enough to install.One or two annoying aspects,when
you drop channels into the group you select you dont seem seem to
be able to move them up or down.This option seems to be only available in view all mode.Epg seems to be quite good.There is
also signal button on remote,when pressed shows the quality.
Another button on remote alternates between 4.3 and widescreen.
Meant to mention there were no mutv,chelsea,etc but there is 1
pay per view which was showing ads of an upcoming fight.
There is also a manual scan option if you know the frequencies.
I don't know the full channel amount available by chorus on mmds,
if anyone does please reply or it could be different for each
region.

PHIL, I tryed downloading firmware to TX and when i click execute download appears and when i click download nothings happening, no progress at all, any ideas.
