Anyway, thanks for the info, The TX is the box I need, any particular site the best to buy from or should I just do a search. Thanks again.

Quick question that some of you may have the answer for. Got a Eurovox Max 2008 the other day and all working fine. System info shows firmware from 29/10/07 and is Kuro. Is this the Beta version of Kuro??

to add these freq's you need to
go to installation
green button for ch edit
red button add channel
enter freq and symbol rate 6875
press ok, then repeat these steps till all freqs added. when they're all in press exit and go back to first page of install menu. press the red button for auto scan. will do a scan an all the freqs entered and should hopefully give you 138 channels.
best of luck
Hi All, Complete Newbie, just bought a eurovox max v 2008. Havit connected up fine used the freq keys above and got about 50ish channels. Would anyone have all the new freq codes for Ch....s??
Thanks in advance

No ariel on my house. Definately have Ch***s MMDS as it say it on my bill. I think there is a big mast in the area and cables must run off this as I have seen Ch***s around the estate. Dunno if anyone else has a system like this?
Thanks for the links to the sites, looks like the Eurovox TX or the dreambox 500t may work for MMDS.
The Box T on iwantabox.com is for MMDS but looking on other postings on this thread it looks like the date for release in not definate. Just wondering is it easy to set up? I presume I need to load on some software onto the box once it arrives? just wondering how easy this is to come by? Sorry for all these basic questions.

As ogg say's that is the latest of the 2008 Eurovox Kuro firmware and Yes it is Beta 2 version, but is working very well and has improved the box from viewer's perspective.

Quote: Set your time using GMT settings, save and exit then autoscan, quickly set time setting to GMT off and power unit off/on and that should do it............ at least for the 2007 model and thats for dublin nthell
A bit of a novice here trying to set up EV 2008. Like above my EPG is 2 hrs ahead. Stupid question - Where do I find autoscan. Is it Update Channels in User installation??

I have the box about a month and it worked fine for about 3 weeks (on N*L Dublin) but in the last week the picture has started to distort and then eventually disappear with a "no signal" message for about 5 minutes before reappearing and working as normal again. It has progressively gotten worse to the point where it goes every 30mins or so.
Any suggestions on how to fix this - is it hardware, software, connection, etc?
Appreciate any help.
What firmware is on the box? Press, menu, config and system info to find out.
The software version is 1.0 STC4 Sep06 2007.

Hi
I keep recieving 'no signal' message even though i've got about 80% signal strength. Im in dublin n*l and i have used the sc0user cdf in eamos folder and the other dub cdf file aswell as powerscaning on 6887 SR. Still no luck. Any ideas of what could be wrong? The box is recieving some epg data for some of the channels but not all.
Its a eurovox max 2007
Thanks
Thanks
