Both nice drives Rick and Sam posted, that samsung looks tempting until Sams comments about the F1, the WD looks good also, people mentioned the WD runs hot, I wonder what kind of temps that samsung would create.

Blah no Asus, Gigabyte only blah blah blah! LOL seriously though it looks a good, fun, build. A friend of mine is in the mood for a build and he was looking at I7 and I'm steering him towards I5. No timetable yet tho...

Yeah same here. Not particularly a fan of ASUS due to reliability issues. Seeing a LOT of dead ASUS boards lately. I would almost recommend any brand over ASUS. Gigabyte, DFI, MSI, Biostar all being good alternatives.
Choose your poison though as I'm sure somebody out there can say the same about my favorite brands :S
AMD Phenom II X6 1100T 4GHz(20 x 200) 1.5v 3000NB 2000HT, Corsair Hydro H110 w/ 4 x 140mm 1500RPM fans Push/Pull, Gigabyte GA-990FXA-UD5, 8GB(2 x 4GB) G.Skill RipJaws DDR3-1600 @ 1600MHz CL9 1.55v, Gigabyte GTX760 OC 4GB(1170/1700), Corsair 750HX

With the features I wanted it was either Gigabyte or ASUS. Well ASUS won this battle because of price. ;) Let's just say the GM isn't afraid of Open Box stuff. I have a DFI mobo that I love (775 platform) that I took a chance on... now let's see how ASUS treats me. lol. I've had/have 2 ASUS mobo's and the only one that gave me issues was repaired FOC by ASUS. It was a LAN problem btw.
Anyway I know we all have our favorites... if it was available for the "right" price DFI would be in me hands. :D
Lots of good reviews for that ASUS mobo tho... we'll see won't we. :p
Thanks for the "input" fellas. ;)

I'm curious how many of you have 2 or more computers networked via windows 7. If so, what is your load time? Every time I open the Windows explorer window, it refreshes the network. That can take almost 10 seconds every time. Sometimes longer than 10 seconds. Is this normal? I was hoping when I upgraded to a 1,000Mb/s connection, that the refresh time would decrease(quicker refresh time). Unfortunately not. Windows XP's refresh time was extremely rapid, if memory serves...
To delete, or not to delete. THAT is the question!
