there must be somethings missing...after all it is a rip...would like to know if anyone knows that things are ripped in this psychospacefish rip kit as well :) thanks

Well I went to alucard.cc to get the info,the only thing ripped is the staff credits at the end.Until now everything woeks fine even the insectron so this is a very good rip,instead of the credits aat the end you will see the intro movie.Thanks to everyone for the hard work and making this possible!

I will check it out, I have 2 save games, 1 before the change of layer en the other almost in chapter 9.

i only had a save for the first start of chapter 7 but, i did phsycos roip ki thingy, and i can teleport go to factory, and i think its gonna work, so what he did? he made this programme, because it says its merging dat 0_1 iwht data 0_0 or something anayway, waht missing? and what size should the end product of the iso be, i have 4.33gigs.

I did everthing that Psychospacefish told us to do but i put the disc on ps2 it says playstation 2 but after everthing stays black. am i the only one whit this problem ??

yes it works with swap magic....that is the whole point we have been doing this........and i can confirm that the factory works past chapter 7.
and mega, he had to modify some header information so that the game would think it was always reading data from layer0.....i am not smart enough to explain it but he briefy described it on alucard.

did you do it with psychospacefish method/rip kit? then yes =) it IS right size.. =)

sickage, yeh i did do it with his method, YES!! finally we can play in peace....and im sure their isnt any prblems because physcofish wouldnt bother make this application without knowing if it works. :D

maan I'm just playing with an idea that THIS ripkitted one also isn't working.. xD I think like hundrets, or thousands of people would go berserk and throw their ps2's out of the window.. xD

hi, I made the 2DVDrip, just for burning the second dvd.
When I loaded with my SM3.3, it got hang when you load the savegame, and a sum up of what's happening appears while the game is getting loaded.
I did a doble swap, refresh the toc, with shadow of rome, and the load the rogue galaxy and it works perfectly, in chapter 9 the insectron and the factory works flawlessly

Hello, Ok so i downloaded the kit, but it says i have to:
1.Extract from an ISO image all the files from both layers with Apache 2 or 3 into the same folder as the ripkit (you can delete the ISO after this)
But what is apache 2 or 3?, i searched for it on the internet and it gives me a HTTP client.
So i just used magic iso and i extracted everything from the iso:
Rogue_Galaxy_PROPER_USA_PS2DVD9-Start2 to the RIP folder. Then i started the rougerip.bat but it said something like Opendata1_0 something failed and then its just not doing anything.
What am I doing wrong here?

Yes I got the same, 4.33 GB, it shows something else if you look at the pictogram but if u click on properties it shows 4.33 GB indeed. Im at chapter 9 now and so far everything is working, insectron too.
My friend braught over his save and he beat the game and saved before bonus planet and that also worked:D so yeah its a good version of them game, i wonder why no one makes a torrent of it, i might do it on black cats.
