well....htey did say that there were delays...but with no other updates and not even a hint of when it can or if the developers have sent back feedback.....well its just getting annoying now.......

Actually, my cousin's neighbor's uncle's friend is the lead wiikey designer. He told me personally through them that he decided to not release any further wiikey updates, and that it would have been out on the 16th, however, all the wii forums they go to, people started bitching and calling them names, so they decided not to release any further updates.

I looked on the official wiikey website but i didn't see exactly what this new wiikey update will do. Everyone seems to be waiting for an update but my wiikey-ed wii works fine? gamecube backups and wii backups work flawlessly. With a chip that only intercepts the dvd signal, how much more is possible? what else can a chip of this design type offer, other than the ability to play backups?

well for PAL wii users we have very little import support...and i mean little...like 10 games, also theres the audio problem with gamecube games and some gamecube games won't work if you have a wiikey installed. Also a stealth mode could be implanted to hide the modchip form future problems. Also theres different dvd support so more dvd r's will work.

well on another site's forums... the forums that the wiikey site use to cite as the official support forums. The admin of those forums says he finally got in contact with the wiikey guy, and says the wiikey guy said that the audio fix is finished, however they are still coding other stuff. The wiikey guy wouldnt give him anymore details or answer any other questions. To me, that seems kinda like its bull though. I am not saying the admin of the other forums didnt speak with the guy, but instead, I am saying, why wouldnt the wiikey guy give some more information? Furthermore, still coding more? The web site when it gave the ETA of the 15th, said that the update was finished, and was being tested. So, it was finished and tested, and now its still being coded? Myself, I am beginning to doubt there will be an update, regardless. Furthermore, I dont understand why they couldnt just release 1.3 to be the audio fix, and then 1.4 to be all this other stuff they are coding *supposedly*.

Trust me, i know, but its just annoying every day to see people complain over and over, saying the same things, and a lot of them are seeming to actually expect that complaining in forums will make a diff....
Here's an example only some will understand... the naruto filler episodes from like episode 135 on... A lot of people in the forums saying "well stop downloading eps, and they will stop making filler! Hit them in the pocket book and then they will change!"

All they are doing is venting out their frustration. Just like You and a few others venting out your frustration on others complaining about the update not being out yet. LOL
I find it amusing at times. hell all of you have to do something to pass the time while ya wait.
But I do know how others feel. The WiiD site hasn't even been updated for close to 2 Months so I am beginning to worry just like Wiikey owners are.

Yeah, but really how much time are you going to pass posting messages? Lol... i mean 10 seconds to post.... that leaves only 23 hours, 59 minutes and 50 seconds till the next day.. but yeah...Damn though, so you guys are kinda in the same boat on WiiD too? Damn, truthfully, I didnt even think that chip was out for 2 months, as its been less than 2 months since I modded my wii, and i hadnt even heard of the Wiid till recently. Next we find out that Wiid and Wiikey were the same people lol.
