yes line 80 or any free line after line 80 will do ,remember to delete the # symbol at the start of any line that you use and then click on file ,then click on exit and save ,and then reboot your box. you say you are picking up the sky channels but no picture (that means your not picking them up ) having the sky channel names in the channel list does not mean you have the channels .if you had bbc1 yesterday that would indicate you had the sky satellite ,if its gone today (and if you installed the dish your self )maybe the dish moved overnight,i would have another look at the dish.

which is the easiest satellite to pick up ?? maybe i could start again from that 1 !!

Hello, i have run into a problem with DYNDNS.org. I have set up my account but for somr reason my routers outside access IP keeps changing every day and I cant get it to update. I have the updater running on my PC and it is suppose to update the dynamic IP address anytime it changes. My peers are getting really cheesed off with the persist connection to them due to the continuos IP change. Can anyone shed some light on how to get the dyndns updater running on an eircom zyxel router? Thanks.

Think you will have to uninstall Cccam cfg Install new Cccam cfg & only delete # symbol at start of line you are using for c-line

cheers mate i will have a go and that !! just so i am clear i delete # from line 80 and put the c line i got from the website in, i got sent 2 c lines from the website which they say i have to input both ! do i put 1 on line 80 and 1 on line 81 or both on the same line ??

they both start with c so i assume its seperate lines, i have also read that i have to enter yes or no at the end something about sharing emu ?? what is this does this apply to me i have a dm500s

cheers

just put one c line in line 80 (having first deleted the # symbol ) and put the second c line in any other free line just before or after line 80 (again delete the # symbol) .of course you can put the c lines in any free line it doesnt have to be line 80 ,i say line 80 in my tutorial as it is where you see examples of c lines and also by saying line 80 it gives newbies a refference point which makes it a little easier when they put in the c line.if you type the c lines in make sure you type and space them exactly as you were given them (or you can copy and paste them in )then make sure to click on file and then click on exit and save ,then reboot your box .

menace, i have zyxel too. dyndns update simply does not work on these routers. two options. use inadyn plugin to update dyndns or get a static ip address from eircom

Will pay per view work when ordered over the phone or red button in the dm500 or will the card have to go back in orignal box first then dm500

would a dm800 be good to run as a server for 9 to 11 clients or would a better server be needed. Any recomendations.

kingpip as your only using c lines to view the channels and have no card you will not be able to share with anyone else so i wouldnt worry about that side of things.

Hello,
first of all thanks for the great tutorials.
I am new to the sat scene.
I have a dm500s and i have loaded pli jaded image on it and also ccCam 2.1.4, i am currently receiving all fta channels on astra 28.2e, next i think i need to sort out the card sharing but im not too sure on how, we have an active sly subscription at home but i want to use the box at another house, is it possible to share the sub this way? I have no idea how to do it and a step by step would be great.
Thanks

many thanks for your reply. the current dish I have does not pick up hotbird and there fore will need to upgrade anyways. would you say a 1m dish with twin LNB was strong enough to pick up eastern european channels?
many thanks in advance
