got box and followed this tutorial no problems what so ever many thanks to the authors. only thing might help if you added instructions for wifi bridge installation but thats being picky as bridge should come with instructions thanks again and happy viewing to all.............ps i will answer my own question yes you can get subtitles on this box.

No Crime investigation channel for about 5 days now, can i get it back or will i just have to wait & hope it will come back on?

put the box on standby and let it power-scan for about 30 mins, if it has moved to a different TP, the box will pick it up for you

Thanks Mickah, not sure your instructions tho, turn it off with remote is clear, but how do i let it power scan?

Hi Mickah,
Right i have two boxes, and turned one off on standby for 40 mins, just turned it on and still scrambled/no signal, i was watching a programme on the other box downstairs for the last 40 mins, would i of had to put both on standby? If not what is the next step to do? cheers.

if you leave both on standby, but it could be a prob on the cable end of things, the chan could be a problem on the VM side or could be the box side, buy put into standby firstly

Sly 3 has been gone on my KV for weeks, ive scanned and re scanned but its not showing up anymore, can any1 help with any suggestions pls?

Hi Mickah, Put both Boxes on standby at 9.45 this morn, just arrived back and have tried them both no change. Do you think they may have moved them to one of the 'uncatergorised' channels, will have a look later when i get time, anybody else having a problem getting this channel (Crime Investigation)?

Mickah,
Have a an adjustable Attenuator fixed and have tried less/more adjusting it and when i do it less i lose sly sprts channels, have you got CI channel yourself working, has anyone out there got the same prob as me??
I have also done the Auto Search for channels but no joy as well, pulled the plugs out for a few mins and plugged back in.
On the old eurovox max v box, there was an update chanel option, dont think there is one on this box is there i can try?

sounds to me like yer signal is the problem, if you have a Att on the line, remove it, plug the box in to your line where it comes into the house, strongest point, put the box on standby (this is the good thing on the box, the box does the work, dont understand why people reset and rescan their Krypts) then let it powerscan, if its your signal, your signal needs to be about 80 percent approx, if your signal is below 70 your going to be missing chans or break up in picture, if the signal is to high, say 90 or over, the same applies

can some one one give me advice on homplugs where to buy, whats the difference in barnds, and how to set them up. i have to move house so i will have to use homeplugs i use an ethernet cable at the moment. please thank you.

Hi Mickah,
Just in from work, and have plugged cable direct into the box, not working at the moment so have it on standby...how long 20 mins?
Reason i put the Anttenuor on was when i first got this up and running with this box, the picture would freeze a lot, someone (somewhere on this forum) told me to put an ATT in and i think were saying the signal should be 50/60% max? but you seem to be saying diff saying it should be a lot higher? Waited 30 mins now and channel still not on Signal was 77 quality 86............next step?

signal is good at 77, below 70 and it will give probs, will ask about to see if the chan your asking about has been missing

I'm having the same problem with Crime and Investigation. No amount of rescanning and powerscanning has brought it back. I'm also getting a problem with Discovery Real Time (+1 is fine). No splitters, direct feed from the wall.
@Federer16 Sky3 has been renamed "PickTV". Which is the reason you can't find it any more.

Updated box, rescan completed yet not receiving sly 1,3,and 4 Turned box off, back on still no joy any work on the go? any advice appreciated.

hi i was just wondering how the ppv worked on the kryptview? do i just turn it on wen the programme is about to start or is their something else to it?

turn it on when programme is on, leave the box in standby for about 30 to 35 mins and the chan will appear in the line up

yip, the box autoscan chans while in standby, so you dont have to manually scan or mess with it
