I have the same problem with DVD Decrpyter, it didn't seem to work. I tried using Alcohol 120% and it worked!! BUT...The music doesn't work, and when i try to play a game in singleplayer mode it freezes as it is loading...so...I haven't gotten it 100% working. I'm using SwapMagic. If you find out anything doc7361, msn me at NoEmails@afterdawn.com

I have a v7+PS2 and using DVD Decrypter and a TDK DVD+R, made a fully working copy. Using DVD SwapMagic v2.0, I did not need to refresh the TOC either, just a simple swap and I was up and running. BTW...this is not a dual layered disc.

Hi all,
Just to let everyone who has been having sound problems know I used Andrew's method and backed it up successfully. It loads even faster than the original it seems. I guess because the size is about half of the original. Out of 50 or so games the only one I have had problems with besides this one is Shellshock Nam '67. I am going to try this methos for that game as well and will post results in the Shellshock forum hopefully tomorrow. Thanks Andrew for the awesome fix!!! If there are any newbs out there that need more of an explanation post in this forum and I will try my best to help you. Everyone was a newbie at first.

andrew,
thanks for the help with that autoexec file, it did the trick, I am however having another prob' now, when I click the record button, I get the message, the recording is not connected, then when I click on ok I get the message, initialization failed, then I click on ok and the recording unit controller pops up, but does nothing?, sorry for being a bit slow on this one, but any help you can give would be good.

I think I found a copy of cdvdgen but when I try to install, it says
"Can't run 16-bit Windows Program"
and
"cannnot find file (or one of its components). Check to ensure the path and filename are correct and that all required libraries are available."
Any ideas?

I finally got Star Wars Battlefront to work after 2 tries. I think the main problem was the media type. I used DVD Decrypter for all the attempts, but after I stopped using the cheap DVD+R disks and burned the game on a HP 4x DVD+R disk (on sale in Staples 25pack), it worked perfectly. I used the same ISO-Load , ISO-Write steps and burned the game in 4x speed. Try and see if it works for you guys.
